Recent interaction between Wang Teng Thomas, the product director of the company with users on Chinese social media-website “Weibo” revealed that the company may launch a smartphone with a pop-up camera, and hinted a new design to be introduced in the smartphone, depending on the demand for such design & its popularity.
As per the report by GizmoChina, the company applied for a patent registration for alike design back in the year 2015 as the company has launched a slider designed smartphone-Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 already. That was not an automated function as we have witnessed in Vivo NEX or Oppo Find X. If the device design would not attach eyes of the major population then the company may stop working with such designs.
