Xiaomi Redmi 4 On Sale In India Via Amazon And Mi.com

Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone maker is up with the first online sale of its flagship Redmi 4 from today at 12 pm IST via Amazon India and Mi.com. This Xiaomi smartphone will be made available in the Matte Black and Elegant Gold color options. We might be knowing that the Xiaomi Redmi 4 price in India starts at Rs. 6,999 for the 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage variant, whereas, the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 8,999. and the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 10,999. There is also an another variant of 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage, priced at Rs. 10,999, that has not been made available to buy in this sale. The company has revealed that this variant of Xiaomi Redmi 4 will only be made available by the end of June.

The today's Xiaomi Redmi 4 sale comes with various offers on Amazon India like - discounts on Mi Cases (down to Rs. 349 from Rs. 499), 12-month Hungama Music and 3-month Hungama Play subscriptions, and Rs. 200 credit on the Kindle app. Apart from all these, the Amazon and Vodafone has joined hands to offer 45GB free data, in this offer the Redmi 4 buyer will have to purchase a 1GB or higher 4G data pack or plan and will be provided 9GB of free data for up to five recharges. Apart from this, all the buyers purchasing the handset from the mi.com will get 10 percent SuperCash on all Mi Products with MobiKwik, and 5 percent cash back on EMI with SBI Credit Card.

To recall, the Redmi 4 was launched in May for the Indian mobile market and has been powered by the Snapdragon 435 SoC, making it closer to the Redmi 4X that was launched in Xiaomi's home market in February. The dual-SIM operating Xiaomi Redmi 4 operates on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The handset comes with the all-metal body and a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. It has a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. On the camera front, the latest Redmi 4 sports a 13-megapixel rear sensor with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash and on the front, it bears a 5-megapixel camera with a f/2.2 aperture for selfies.

Xiaomi is touting several software features on the Redmi 4 smartphone which includes App Lock (password and fingerprint locks for apps), Second Space (allowing multi-account profiles), and Dual Apps (allowing users to utilize two different WhatsApp accounts simultaneously). Special beta preview of Android Nougat-based MIUI will be available to users and the infrared sensor on board allows the smartphone to be used as a universal remote control.

The top connectivity options included in the Redmi 4 are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG, Bluetooth v4.1, and 3.5mm audio jack. The device also has an infrared sensor and has been powered by a 4100mAh battery. This latest Xiaomi smartphone in India measures 139.2x69.6.x8.6mm and weighs 150 grams.
