Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is gearing to launch two budget segment smartphones, likely to be dubbed as Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A, after the grand success of Redmi 5 Series. The Chinese company had launched the Redmi 5 series previously in December which was followed by a global launch in February 2018. Within three months of the global launch of Redmi 5 series, the images of Redmi 6 series have started appearing on the internet for the first time.
Xiaomi is going to conduct an annual event on 31st May in Shenzhen, China to celebrate its 8th anniversary, where the Chinese company would unveil Mi 8, MIUI 10, Mi Band 3 Fitness Tracker and among others. It is speculated that the company would also unveil the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A budget smartphones in this event.

Currently, three Xiaomi devices with model numbers M1804C3DE, M1804C3CC, M1804C3CE have been listed on TENAA, Chinese certification website along with some key specifications. However, the company itself not revealed any information regarding the upcoming budget segment smartphones

The smartphone with model number M1804C3DE is likely to be dubbed as Redmi 6 featuring dual rear cameras, fingerprint scanner and much more, whereas other two models probably of Redmi 6A. It is also anticipated that three models likely to termed as regular, Plus, and Pro variants of the Redmi 6 series
As per the TENAA Listings, the Redmi 6 bears a 5.45-inch display along with 18:9 aspect ratio display and the screen resolution of 20x1440 pixels and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. It is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz most probably with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC. The listing also reveals that the smartphone packs a 3000mAh battery.
However, the Xiaomi smartphones manufaturer company did not disclose any information regarding the upcoming smartphones, the smartphone listed on the website looks like a Redmi smartphone instead of Redmi Note, as the dimensions of the smartphone are 147.46x71.49x8.3mm which looks similar to the currently launched Redmi 5. For the remaining features, we have to wait for the official launch or until the TENAA website will reveal the next spec sheet.
As per the TENAA listings, all of three models are different in RAM, storage, and camera. The M1804C3DE model number has 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB RAM along with 6GB/ 32GB/ 64GB of inbuilt storage. It features a 12- primary rear camera and secondary rear camera spec is not mentioned in the listing, however, two- rear cameras are visible on the image. For the selfie snapper, it gets a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
The budget segment smartphone with model number M1804C3CC listed with 2GB RAM+16GB internal storage. It packs a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
The smartphone with model number M1804C3CE would be equipped with 2GB/3GB RAM along with 16GB/ 32GB internal storage. It features a 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel selfie camera.
