Xiaomi Redmi Pro With Dual Rear Camera Setup Launched

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has again launched a new smartphone under the moniker Redmi Pro. As per reports, the company has included a number of enticing features in the handset and has made it available in three different variants.

The new Android smartphone is made available in three variants - Helio X20 for CNY 1,499 (nearly Rs 15,100), Helio X25 divided into two sub-variants: first for CNY 1,699 (nearly Rs 17,100) and the second variant priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately equal to Rs 20,200). The company has designed the smartphone having a brushed aluminium body with CNC-chamfered edges and is giving three color options to its users in the form of Gold, Silver and Dark Grey.

Depending on the variants, the RAM capacity and the storage capacity have been defined. The first of the three variants Helio X20 offers 3GB RAM capacity along with 32GB of storage capacity. The middle variant Helio X25 as stated above offers two options - one of 3GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity while the other option is of having 4GB RAM coupled with 128GB storage capacity that also forms the last variant being made available for users.

One of the highlighting factor of the GSM-handset is its dual rear camera setup since it sports both 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 sensor coupled with a 5-megapixel camera with a flash present in between the two lenses. As far as the front camera is concerned, the company has taken due consideration of it too since the device sports a 5-megapixel camera on the front side too.

The other highlight of the product is the presence of deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 SoC, coupled with a Mali-T880 GPU that makes it the 'most powerful Redmi ever'. Also, there is one more variant that is powered by deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 SoC.
It sports a 5.5-inch OLED display with a 100 percent NTSC color gamut and 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor on the home button.

Other specifications on the device include a hybrid dual-SIM slot and in place of offering second SIM card, the device comes with support for microSD card. Like other devices, this new product too offers standard connectivity options like support for 4G LTE and VoLTE(Voice over LTE).
