Xiaomi Smarter Living Event Scheduled For 27th September

Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone is going to host an event on September 27, 2018, where the company would unveil various new Xiaomi products including Mi Band 3, Smart TV, smart speaker, Air purifier, Mi 360 Wireless Camera and a smartphone, most probably the Mi Max 3.

The invites have been sent out by Xiaomi for the launch event which is planned for September 27 at 11:30 AM IST.

Alongside Mi Band 3, it is expected that the company would also unveil Mi Max 3 at the same event in India.

To recall, the Mi Max 3 was launched in China on 19th July 2018. The Mi max boasts a larger 6.9-inch Full HD+ display, along with 18:9 aspect ratio. For the display safety, the smartphone gets a 2.5D curved glass display.

In terms of hardware, the smartphone gets an Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 SoC which is clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. For storing content, the smartphone is equipped with 64GB/128GB storage that can be further extended up to 128GB by using a micro SD card and 4GB/6GB RAM.

Currently, it is not confirmed that how many storage variants of Mi Max 3 the company would release in the Indian market.

Mi Band 3, the new fitness band being offered by Xiaomi features a 0.78-inch OLED monochrome display which is round in design. The screen of the new fitness band demonstrates the messages and calls.

The health fitness band has been equipped with a heart-rate monitor feature which recommends you heart- related functions. It is armed with a 110mAh battery that can be rated to deliver up to 20 days Standby time.

The band is certified with dust and water resistance feature that means it can survive underwater up to 50 meters. A button is placed on the front side of the device that can be used to answer/ reject the call by pressing it long.

The fitness band also demonstrates the real-time activities such as running, cycling, walking, and more. In China, the Mi Band 3 has been priced at CNY 169 (roughly Rs 1,780) in Black, Blue and Red colour options.

It is anticipated that Xiaomi could also launch Mi TV 4 which was initially launched in China in the month of May during this year. The Mi TV 4 comes with a 75-inch 4K HDR Ultra HD display and has a thickness of 11.4mm. It is powered by a 64-bit A53 quad-core processor coupled with a Mali-T830 GPU.

The Mi TV 4 comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Xiao Ai voice assistant feature is available on television. To offer immersive sound experience to the users the company has offered It Dolby Digital and DTS surround.

The connectivity options in the Mi TV 4 include Bluetooth and WiFi and is the first largest LED TV that has been offered by Xiaomi.
