Xolo Black: Premium in Feel and Specs, yet Affordable at Rs. 12,999

The homegrown mobile manufacturer Xolo has begun the new era by announcing a new smartphone for its new sub-brand Black. The eponymously named handset of Xolo under Black branding – Xolo Black has been unwrapped for Indian market as Flipkart exclusive product. Company has brought this device to show its rivalry against Micromax’s Yu sub-brand.

At the price tag of Rs 12,999, company has made it so carefully as it is prone from any smudge and strain, thanks to the oleophobic coating. Well, this smartphone is not only smudge resistant, but also scratch-resistant. And for that, credit goes to Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which is coated on Xolo Black’s both front and rear panel.

Now, move to the specifics where we can see a 5.5-inch IPS display which uses OGS technology for better user experience. It confers great viewing experience with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Qualcomm’s 64bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core Soc is powering this device which is capable to make it a performance beast. To compliment such boasting performance, 2GB RAM is also on-board which helps the processor in smooth multitasking.

A massive 3200mAh battery is just incredible for monstrous battery backup output. 16GB of internal storage with option of expandable storage support of upto 32GB is also there. Company has made it 4G LTE compatible device to stay in competition with number of 4G handsets which are available in India under this price segment.

Xolo Black has showed its artistry in its imaging module, crafting a dual camera on rear panel with LED flash - one with 13MP image sensor and another with 2MP imaging sensor. Front panel on the other side is crafted wonderfully with 5MP shooter which also has LED flash for better selfie result.

For enchanting experience in accessing the device, company has given it the toppings of Hive Atlas UI on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. One of the custom features is named Underground which let users to save private data and space at some secure place in mobile. Xolo Black can be purchased from Flipkart only as the sale will begin from July 13^th. For Xolo’s existing users, the sale will open on July 12^th for 4 hours, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, but it requires registration on Xolo First which has begun from today.
