Zen Sonic 1 Launched with 2GB RAM for Just INR 5999

The current tech market is overloaded with countless smartphones. In a smartphone below 6k-7k, you can hardly expect high performance configuration. But that's not any more. Zen, the Indian mobile manufacturer has launched a smartphone Zen Sonic 1 with 2GB RAM. The company has set a price tag of INR 5999 for this handset. There are many more smartphones like Lenovo A6000 Plus, Mi 4i, Honor 4x, but all of them are priced above INR 7,000. With the availability of this high features phone, the competition to similar priced handsets has also increased.

Moving onto the specifications of this mobile, Zen Sonic 1 sports 1.3GHz quad core processor with latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It is supplemented with 16GB internal space which is rare to see in other smartphones under same price range. External microSD card facility is also provided with a maximum limit of 32GB. In terms of connectivity options, FM radio, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, and a micro USB port are also made available.

In terms of display, Sonic 1 is given a 5-inch display with 480x800 pixels resolution. 2000mAh battery is also present in this phone which is capable to give 13 hours of 3G talktime. For capturing pictures, 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera is embedded on it.

No other handset is capable enough to compete Zen Sonic 1 till now. But as the race has taken a new turn, it will be interesting to see what other companies will present in front of their customers.
