ZTE, China based smartphone manufacturing company is very well known for its appealing design handsets. The company has released few interesting devices under its Axon and Nubia series lineup. Earlier this year, it launched ZTE Nubia Z9, a device with no bezel on the sides. Its Axon line of smartphones is known for its interesting designs as well are quite powerful in terms of audio.
The company has also said to offer Blade devices, which are the company’s mid-range devices. Its newly built Blade S7 is designed by stealing the concept of designing from iPhone 5 and 5s to create a good looking. The company touts that the ZTE Blade S7 is the “perfect smartphone for the selfie lovers”. It has not revealed the pricing of the handset, but has confirmed that it will go on sale on the first sale in Thailand and will later be available in other markets across Asia-Pacific.
The handset is said to feature a 5-inch full HD LTPS display with a resolution of 1080*1920 pixels and is having the 445ppi pixel density. The dual SIM 4G enabled smartphone comes with aluminum alloy frames and sports a 72.1 percent screen to body ratio. The Blade S7 is operated on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system with customized MiFavor 3.2 UI running on the top and is powered with 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and coupled with 3GB of DDR3 RAM. The device arrives with the native storage of 32GB which is further expandable via microSD card slot expansion.
The biggest Unique Selling Point (USP) of the smartphone is its camera section. The latest Blade S7 is the selfie focused smartphone; it bears dual 13 megapixel cameras on the board and both are accompanied by LED flash. Its front facing camera comes with phase detection autofocus, Panorama and also supports 14 different beautification options. While its rear end camera comes with auto shooting modes, selective focus and laser autofocus.
Jacky Zhang, CEO of Asia Pacific, ZTE Mobile Devices commented on the launch that, “We are delighted to confirm the availability of the ZTE Blade S7, a device packed with a range of fun and innovative features. ZTE is constantly listening to its customers and we wanted to deliver a device that takes the selfie experience to a new level.”
The Blade S7 will be available in four color variants including Lemon Green, Rose Gold, Diamond White and Space Grey.
