A new app has been developed by a Swiss software company Dacuda. This app let iPhone users to click three-dimensional pictures. Specifically developed for food pictures, it does not only take 3D pictures of your food, but also make them interactive also.
User can take 360 degree pictures of any object and then share them as 3D pictures. 3DAround is free to download for iPhone 6 users. You can share captured 3D image with your friends and family, doesn’t matter they have the same app installed in their device or not.
Alexander Ilic from Dacuda told to BGR, "The app allows users to share full dining experiences via 3D images so lifelike, viewers can almost taste the food." Thanks to company’s SLAM Scan 3D technology that will make this possible along with the help of 3D scanning algorithm and software and the iPhone 6 camera as well. This app will take out the 3D picture of food from different angles, depth and then arranged them in a single image and the virtual 3D image of your food is just in front of you to share.
iPhone 6’ accelerometer will play a major role to share these 3D virtual images. There is catch that it is only compatible with iPhone 6. Not any other iPhone devices’ users will take the benefit of this app.
