The Chinese Internet giant Alibaba Group has launched a new app dubbed as "Privacy Knight" face lock app. It is India's first free app-lock with face-lock feature that allow users to unlock their protected apps via one-second selfie.
Ebrahim Popat, Country Manager of 9Apps, an Android marketplace within Alibaba Mobile Business Group, said in a statement that "Face Lock is set to change the way people protect their privacy. It is the next big thing after fingerprint lock. The age of face lock is here."
The Chinese company brings an amazing app, that works on one second step for face locking. This app is useful in order to save the users trouble to remember the patterns or pin code.
In terms of accuracy, the face lock, and blink detection ensures a 99.47 percent correctness in face recognition. The company claimed that the "Privacy Knight" is safer than other locks as it doesn't require any user information. The face lock is accessible via offline mode.
Along with face lock, "Privacy Knight" is also offering users protection including app lock, vault, clean, themes, intruder selfie, fake cover, fake icon and more.
