While the introduction of the Android M at the event, the Google has highlighted six major changes that have been made in the OS. The six key concepts are App permissions, fingerprint support, smoother app-to-web experience, Android Pay, App-linking capability and better battery management. The new operating system will also provide a new way to fetch the information and protect privacy on the compatible device. All of these features are used in the new OS to enhance stability and working efficiency on the platform.

App permissions, it will allow the users to decide which permissions they wants, unlike the current implementation where the users have to agree to all app permissions on first install and the same for the updates. In Android M, users will get notifications asking for permissions only when they are using a particular function in an app. Fingerprint support, this feature will make your Android Pay transaction easier as you can use fingerprint to unlock your device to purchase Play Store.
