Apple Likely to Introduce New Voicemail Service Using Siri

Apple is one such brand that keeps coming up with innovative ideas to impress its customers. Time and again it has been proved that Apple clearly rules the world of technology. Reportedly, this time, the brand is all set to introduce yet another unique feature. According to the market reports, Apple is planning to test a service that will enable Siri to work as a voicemail. In this service, the voicemails received by your iPhone will be transcribed by Siri. This means that your iPhone will no longer play the recorded messages. Rather, it will be sent to the Apple server and then converted into text.

This feature will offer convenience to those who do not prefer hearing their voice mails. Moreover, if you are expecting an aggressive voice message from an annoyed friend or relative, the text version will be much relieving. You can even allow it to let the phone contacts know your whereabouts and tell them the reason for not taking the call.

However, nothing is confirmed as to whether this feature will require carrier support or not. It is yet to be known if any charges will apply for using this service. Interestingly, the brand's visual voicemail service only works on selected operators. So, chances are that this service might also remains restricted to some particular operators. The company is likely to start working on the service once, the testing gets completed. Speculations are strong that this feature will get introduced in the year 2016 along with brand's iOS 10.
