Apple MacBook Air is Set to Receive a Major Facelift

One of the multinational technology companies, Apple is now preparing to offer the big boost for its MacBook Air. The product range has not witnessed any major change since its launch in 2010, but this time, it will come up with the makeover, which it truly deserves and will be definitely liked by everyone, especially the Apple users. The launch is expected to take place at Apple's annual WWDC event in the June 2016.

By taking inspiration from Apple, many manufactures have updated their respective device in the terms of hardware with better Full HD display and also providing a slimmer construction with better battery life. Now, to compete with others, the company plan to change the design of the MacBook Air as well as update its ageing internals.

The main features include improved batteries, chassis and cooling modules and will also have 15 inch variant as well. As of now, 13 inch models are the largest offering in the MacBook Air lineup. Quanta, a Taiwanese original design manufacture (ODM) will manufacture the model with all those aspects that have been mentioned above. Throwing light on the prices, it's expected to be high, like what happened with the iPhone 6s.

According to the report, the company may, however, discontinue the 11 inch line up and place 13 inch model as the base version along with 15 inch being the bigger variant.
