Cyanogen Added Huawei, Motorola, in its Mid-range Support List

In the era of Android smart-phones, different companies offer their custom UI enabled Android OS in their devices. Cyanogen is one of the famous Android custom-ROM developer which are supported by most of the micromax mobile phones.

Cyanogen, the custom Andorid OS developer has announced that it is expanding its CyanogenMod device family as it is adding more mid-range smartphones in its list. Huawei, Motorola, Oppo, Xiaomi are reported to be listed, which are going to offer CyanogenMod on their devices.


As per the list of individual smart-phones are concerned, Moto E and Moto G 2015, Xiaomi Mi3 and Mi4 are listed. G3, M8 Dual SIM, Galaxy S5 variants of Japan/China, and the S5 Duos are those from Samsung, HTC, LG's end. For the first time, Honor 4 & 4x, Ascend Mate 2, and SnapTo will be offered with CyanogenMod. Oppo fans will also receive this update in its new R7, R7 Plus, and R5Plus.

Earlier in April, news regarding team-up of Microsoft and Cyanogen gone viral over the internet. According to that news, Microsoft was collaborating with Cyanogen in order to offer Microsoft applications to run on its custom OS.
