Google Announced to Provide Apps to Developers at Introductory Subscription Charge

Google, as we all know is a great platform for developers and app lovers too. Playstore is the greatest platform where you can find each and every application you’ve heard of. Many of them are free to use but some of those are paid application, that mean you have to pay and subscribe to use that application. Sometimes a user hesitate a bit before subscribing the app because every person have a different taste of choice.

Google Announced to Provide Apps to Developers at Introductory Subscription Charge

Keeping this in mind, the company has announced that it will allow user to pay an Introductory subscription charge of USD 1 per month and after that he or she can use the application as a trial for one month. User can apply for three time for this Introductory subscription before getting normally charged. By this, user will be able to try any application before getting it subscribed permanently. The company haven’t said a word on the availability date of these features.

Larissa Fontaine, Director, Global Head of App Business Development, Google Play, in a post on Android Developer’s Blog stated, “We know how important subscriptions are in helping you monetize and we're continuing to invest in features to support your subscription business. Subscriptions are the fastest growing business model on Play, with consumer spending in subscription apps increasing 10x over the last 3 years. Coming soon, you'll be able to create an introductory price for new subscribers for a set period of time.”

Meanwhile, the giant firm has also stated its intention to introduce one more feature of pre-registering the application. Google will allow the user to pre-register before the official release of the application. At the time of release the registered users will be notified that the app is now available to use. The company is currently working with developers for the following feature and will make it available for some applications soon.
