Google To Set Up Data Centre in Mumbai by 2017

Google has decided to strengthen its presence in the nation with the label of its data center in Mumbai by the coming year. The decision has been taken to support and assist Indian genre business units for better performance and efficiency. Google also offered Google Cloud in an event Horizon previous week at San Francisco.

The announcement goes further with a cloud region to be established in the financial capital Mumbai, which aims to strengthen the network while delivering a smooth experience for enterprise customers and Indian developers. Mumbai is one of the locations, which Google chose to establish their Google Cloud region. While, the other data centres will be located in other parts of the globe that include - Singapore, Sydney, Northern Virginia, São Paulo, London, Finland, and Frankfurt.

The Google has really incepted well into the market of various countries by offering its cloud services as many gigantic firms like Snap Inc, Niantic Labs, and Evernote take services from Google for their cloud storage operations.

As for Indian concern, the organizations like Wipro, Ashok Leyland, Smartshift by Mahindra & Mahindra, Dainik Bhaskar Group and Inshorts.com takes the cloud services from Google. Rick Harshman, Asia-Pacific Managing Director, Google Cloud said that “In addition to our focus on Indian customers, we continue to build a robust partner ecosystem to support customers as they move to the cloud. We already have deep partnerships with a multitude of born-in-the-cloud partners including Search Co-Sourcing, Cloud Cover, PowerUp Cloud and MediaAgility as well as global partners like Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra and Cognizant. The opening of the Cloud Region opens up newer opportunities for several new cloud partners who will benefit from building their services on Google Cloud.”
