MediaTek, popular semiconductor company has brought MT6795 chipset to disseminate 64-bit LTE SoC portfolio for high-end smartphone devices. The 64-bit True octa-core LTE enabled SoC is company’s first SoC with LTE support. Company has brought it specially for high-end devices to speed-up with power performance.
The chip has the capability of targeting at the speed of upto 2.2GHz. The new invention is based on company’s CorePilot technology which works in the manner of providing multi-processor performance and thermal control. Dual-channel LPDDR3 is also supported by MT6795, which works in order to enhance the performance at 933MHz clock speed.
It is expected that first MediaTek MT6795 based device will come in market in the end of year 2014. Here, I have tried to pen-out some of its key specifications which include 2K (2560x1600 pixels) display support, 1080p super-slow motion video feature support, 120Hz mobile display with ClearMotion Technology and Response Time Enhancement. Going to more deep in the features list, it also comes clubbed with new integrated, low-power hardware support for H.265 Ultra HD (4K2K) video record and playback; support for Rel. 9, Category 4 FDD and TDD LTE and many others.

MediaTek works in portfolio style, as for mainstream users, it has MT6752 and for entry level users, it uses MT6732 while the new one has been introduced for premium users.
