This week, First Digital Payment \'Tez App\' has been launched by the Google Company in India. Other digital payment apps such as Paytm and Bhim already being used by people across the country, in such condition there was uncertainty that how many people will utilise this App. Within Just 24 hours of launching, Tez App has been downloaded by more than 4 lakh users in India and the app has received great response. In simple terms, we can say that the Google has launched its first digital payment app to give competition to Paytm and Bhim.
Android and iOS users can download this app from Google Play Store for free. Apart from this, through this app a transaction of Rs 1.8 crores per day has been recorded by the company. Google has declared that about 4,10,000 active users have downloaded \'Tez App\' within just few hours of launching.
Tez app being offered by Google is interconnected with all banks namely, HDFC, SBI, ICICI and so on for using UPI. People can do payments from their bank accounts by using this app, there is no requirement to open a separate account for making transactions.
The Google \'Tez App\' is based on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) along with support of the Indian Government. Tej App is distinct in several ways from already existing digital payment apps such as Bhim and Paytm. In which, money is transferred directly in users banks account. \'Reward Point\' is the highlighting features of this app, under this user receives \'cash payment\' in the form of reward at the time of making payment. Additionally, one lucky user will get an opportunity to win a cash upto Rs 1 lakh every Sunday.
In terms of security aspects, Google built the app by using multiple safety features such as Google PIN and fingerprint. Through this app, user will be able to make payment on the hotspot network as well as share times, along with bank transactions.
