Manish Rathi, co-founder and chief executive officer, RailYatri.in stated, "We launched this feature to help train travelers manage their journey better. Every day, during the fog season in north India, about 60-80 trains get delayed."
This new feature will add the intelligence to this app that tells about the estimated delay of any train. You can rely on these data intelligent app instead of trust on the conventional sources. He also said, "During these chaotic times, the conventional sources are not so reliable due to the heavy rush. We believe that the mobile technology, coupled with our data intelligence can help simplify train travel."
The new Fog Alerts feature will help customers to inform the train delays before booking the tickets. Passengers then book their journey after estimating the train delays due to fog. RailYatri app also helps people to get through this frustrating situation. This app has a GPS locator which tells you the exact location of your while you stuck somewhere in middle because of the bad weather situation. This will help you to find the upcoming station and the estimated time to reach at the next station. He also added, "With the GPS Locator, you won't feel lost on a train."
