Samsung to Revoke Galaxy Note 7 Sales Over Battery Issues

South Korean conglomerate Samsung is now planning to take an unwilling step over the sales of its latest flagship product dubbed as Galaxy Note 7. The reason it contributes to its customers that reported of the device getting exploded while they kept it on charging.

An official from Samsung said,”The most important thing is the safety of our customers and we don’t want to disappoint our loyal customers.”

This step may cause a dent in Samsung stock which was a hit release of this year. Samsung, in a report given to various media outlets, said, “We will share the findings as soon as possible. Samsung is fully committed to providing the highest quality products to our consumers.”

The company may get its position weaken in the market as its rival firm Apple is going to unveil its latest smartphone iPhone 7 on September 7 in the market. An official from the suffering firm said, ”Products installed with problematic battery accounts for less than 0.1 percent of the entire volume sold. The problem can be simply resolved by changing the battery, but we’ll come up with convincing measures for our consumers.”

The company may not officially announce the recall on Friday, as they are still collaborating on the issue with their partners in the US referring the issues that have cropped by far.

The official later also added, “Global discussions are under way about matters such as how to deal with products delivered to dealers. Results of the investigation and relevant countermeasures will be made public this weekend or early next week at the latest.”

One must recall that Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was officially announced on August 2 and started to get on deliveries in 10 countries from August 10. The Android smartphone was unveiled on August 11 in the country and was supposed to be delivered from August 31.
