Sony Starts Rolling Out Android 7.0 Nougat Update For Xperia XZ

Sony, the giant smart products manufacturing and developing firm has been a step back in the smartphone industry for a long time, but the company is still trying to make its step ahead and stable in the following market. The company is providing updates for its smartphones with the latest technical upgradations.

Recently, the company rolled out Android 7.0 update for its Xperia X Performance smartphone, and now has started to roll out updates for its Xperia XZ smartphone. The new update will offer many new functionalities to the device including multi-window support, a new Messaging app and much more.

The multi-window support of the new operating system, as its name represents will allow users to use two applications simultaneously. Talking about the new Messaging app, it will not allow the user to share audio and video messages as well. Furthermore, a better battery life is also claimed by the company after installing the update, which is going on in phased manner.

Coming to the handset, the Sony Xperia XZ was launched a few month before in the country with a price tag of Rs 51,990. The device is blessed with a 5.2-inch full HD display and offers 64GB of inbuilt storage. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. The handset is backed up by a 2900mAh battery and is water resistant too.
