Sony, the well known techno developing and manufacturing firm has recently stepped forward to bring up some advancements on the Virtual Reality platform. The company has partnered with Reality One to evolve VR technology to an advanced level. Both the companies will work together to develop and present VR content, which is believed to be fruitful for the expansion of Sony’s films and original stand-alone content as well.

By the following announcement, it is clear that the company is completely focussed on its new VR headsets, which will go on sale by next month and its recently announced higher-spec Playstation 4 pro, which is believed to handle VR content even better than the original Playstation 4.

The partnership of both companies is not that surprising at all, because all of us already know that the VR platform is increasing rapidly and it doesn’t depend only on the hardware. Sony, no doubt is well known for its quality hardware performance, but if the company wants to spread its wings under Virtual Sky then it has to make sure that the content should be of a better quality as well. Hence, by getting aligned with Reality One ( which co-produced and co-published the VR film Gnomes and Goblins, directed by Jon Favreau), Sony will be able to head on the challenge with an excitation.

Sony, on the other hand has already partnered with more than 230 developer companies for the creation of 50 VR titles for its PS4 consoles and its upcoming VR headsets, which will arrive by the end of this year. Well, that’s all worth it, as the company has already sold more than 40 million PS4 consoles (is expected to sell more with its new PS4 pro release). The console will having a compatibility with Sony’s mid-priced USD-399 VR headset.
