The biggest social networking company is expanding its area of business. In this league, the social network giant has made the partnership with the biggest security group Kaspersky. This partnership has been made to bring a security tool to save your computer from malwares.

This initiative step by the giant is for enhancing the good experience of accessing web. In efforts to save computers from malicious attacks, Facebook has taken such initiative. Malware is the term which is used for trojan horses, spyware, adware and many other malicious codes.

The California based social networking company has been working from years with anti-malware firms ESET, F-Secure and Trend Micro for developing a clean-up software, which is just to offer free security to computer users via anti-malware software.

Facebook stated in a blog post, "To make this programme even more effective, Kaspersky Lab is bringing their expertise to our malware clean-up efforts. If we detect malware on your computer, we will offer Kaspersky Malware Scan for Facebook among our other clean-up tools to help take care of the problem."

This clean-up tool will use combination of signals to detect the malicious attacks and to remove them from system as reported. On the other side, Kaspersky said in a blogpost, "Facebook users are often targeted in online fraud schemes such as "phishing," which are faked emails designed to get recipients to download malware. Facebook is a major aim for phishers: one in five phishing scams targets Facebook notifications. So be vigilant when you receive emails appearing to be from Facebook: as they can be fake. There are lots of Trojans targeting Facebook users as well." Hence, this tool will scan notifications whenever a new notification user gets.
