Xiaomi, the Chinese techno manufacturing and developing firm has already introduced many smart products in categories like pressure cookers, LED lights and even water purifiers. Now, ahead of MWC, the company has introduced a new Selfie Stick Tripod for hands-free photography.
The 2-in-1 device, essentially converts into a tripod when needed, which eliminates the requirement of a tripod for shooting purposes. The new selfie tripod comes with a detachable Bluetooth remote control, which can be used to take pictures from a distance. It has been introduced in colour variants and weighs just 155 grams.
The new offering the by Chinese manufacturer is compatible with all devices running iOS 5.0 or later and Android 4.3 or later. It is blessed with an aluminum body and can hold smartphones of width 56mm to 89mm, which covers all the large phones out there.
Moreover, it features an ‘anti-skid’ design, but still due to having a lightweight body, so we can not expect to take steady shots in windy or rocky areas. However, the tripod is excellent for indoor use, especially for video chatting and other shooting purposes. The Mi Selfie Stick Tripod has been launched in China and is available on Mi.com with a price tag of CNY 89 (Rs 900 approx).
