A Brief History of Cellphones

At present around 6 billion which means 85% people are connected with the mobile. Today mobile has not only become status symbol but become an essential part of our life. Now from the present era smartphones can perform all the task which a computer can do, but do you know in its initial stage how mobile phone appears and what was its weight?

Four decades before on 3 April 1973 Martin Cooper designed world's first cellphone with its length as 10 inch and weight as 1 Kg. Let us know about history of mobile and its techniques.

Military Radio Transmitter

Before invention of cellphone, military radio transmitter was used. The range of FM radio backpack is only five kilometer and its weight is 17 Kg. After this AM radio phone came having weight of 2Kg and 125 gm, but its range is limited to 1.6 Km.

Motorola DynaTAC

This was the first cellphone developed in 1973 whose battery last in just 20 minutes.
