A large number of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) have closed the production of the parts. The prices of crude oil are at a new low of 17 year being down by 65% since January. The disturbances in the environment, the financial crisis and interrupted supplies have worked like a threefold factor to bring down the demand for automotives. The global impact of the corona outbreak will not let the sale increase till 2022.

Aulbur said, "While global trade may stabilize earlier, macroeconomic impact of recession may be felt on the supply and demand side for a prolonged time period." Aulbur said that the companies should be focused on ensuring the safety of their staff as there is not much they can do except wait for the pandemic to be over. Hero MotoCorp: 42 Percent Down in March and 11% in FY2020

Hero MotoCorp Bike and Scooter Model, which has 37.74 percent of the two-wheeler market share with at 3,34,647 units, last month's sales are a sizable 42 percent down on year-ago figures i.e. March 2019 with 5,81,279. The industry slowdown has lasted for over a year now and impacted sales of commuter motorcycles, Hero’s Sales FY2020 numbers get 11 percent down YoY at 64,09,719 units which were 72,39,460 in FY2019. The company said in a statement that "In March 2020, the auto industry and the entire global economy has been faced with unprecedented disruption, owing to the novel coronavirus. COVID-19 has resulted in interrupted supply chains, halted production and lock-down, leading to no retails." 

Honda: March Sales up 11 Percent, YoY Decline of 15% in FY2020

The No. 2 industry player Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India in two-wheelers has around 27% market share. As per record, the company reported a spike of 11 percent in domestic market sales with 2,45,699 unit sales in March 2020 as compared to 222,325 in March 2019. However, the company wrapped up FY2020 with total sales of 47,06,572 units, thus reported a YoY decline of 15 percent in FY2019 the total sale was 55,20,617 units.

Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Director (Sales and Marketing), HMSI, said, “Honda was the first two-wheeler manufacturer to lead the BS-VI transition almost six months ahead of the deadline with the Activa 125 BS-VI in September 2019. Despite all efforts, 2019-20 has been a challenging year in more ways than one. The COVID-19 impact derailed industry’s plans and has severely impacted the automobile ecosystem – right from the supply chain to dealers.”

Bajaj Auto: Down 55 Percent in March and 7 Percent in FY2020

Bajaj Auto Models is at the fourth-placed in the OEM chart, which has 12%market shares. The company reported a decline of 55% in March with sales of 98,412 units compared to220,213 unites sales of March 2019. There is also an 18 percent YoY drop with sales of 2,078,348 units in FY2020 as compared to 2,541,340 units in the Financial year 2019, indicative. However, the total exports with 1,869,220 units exported in FY2020 saw a 10 percent increase.

TVS Motor Co: 62 percent slide in March, 18 percent in FY2020

TVS Motor Company is on No. 3 in the industry with 14 percent market share, has also gone through a tough time just like others. As per reported data, the company faced a sharp 62 percent decline a sale in March 2020 with 94,103 unit sales, last year in march the sales number was 1,53,591 units. Suzuki Motorcycle India: 42% Down in March But 6% up in FY2020

• Maintain the Battery

Clean off and vacuum if possible. Clean the crumbs of food items from your carpet. According to various online reports, the Indian automobile industry is likely to suffer an estimated revenue loss of approx ₹ 13,000 crore to ₹ 15,000 crore due to the coronavirus outbreak. In this hard time of the pandemic that is causing trouble to the domestic economy and several businesses in the country, the report says that If automakers are told to shut down all their operations for the next 10 days, then their estimated revenue loss will be so huge.

It is also notable that a majority of manufacturers like Honda, Maruti, Hyundai, Suzuki, TVS & Tata Motors have already shut down all their operations temporarily. There are also a few companies that are yet to announce closure are Kia Motors and BMW India. On the other hand MG Motor India has opted to introduce disinfect & deliver program initiative for the customers wherein the vehicle will be completely sanitized to ensure minimal risk of infections.

One of the source ETAuto stated in their report that the Indian automobile sector makes a gross revenue of around ₹ 2,000 crores each day thus shutting down the production by the manufacturers for the next 10 days will result in a huge revenue loss per day wherein the annual business of the sector stands at ₹ 7.8 lakh crore. It is noticeable that the industry contributes around 7.5 percent to India's overall GDP, and that accounts for 49 percent of its manufacturing sector.

Meanwhile, reports also stated that the loss can be recovered, once production operations will be resumed and the manufacturers are willing to ramp up the production and improve capacity utilization. However, one thing that needs to be considered that the domestic automobile sector is already going through a down phase as of now with severe underutilization of capacity due to dull demand over the last year. And now, the coronavirus pandemic is farcing the automakers to stop production at their facilities and also force their non-manufacturing employees to work from home.

The impact of the coronavirus is getting worse day by day and all the businesses and industries have seen the highest impact in the last 24 hours wherein some of the leading automakers have made the announcement of the closure of their production or manufacturing plants due to an outbreak of the coronavirus as preventive measure till March 31. At present time, the OEMs have stopped the production at their selected facilities located in states where the state government has released orders for the complete shutdown. But after observing the measurement of the impact and rise in the cases of coronavirus in the last two-three days, many industry experts think that the automobile sector may be heading towards a 100 percent shutdown.

The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturing (SIAM) and Automotive Components manufacturers' association of India (ACMA) have already released an advisory to Auto manufacturers to halt their plant operations temporarily. In the same matter Rajan Wadhera who is President of SIAM stated that, "With a view to the deteriorating situation arising out of COVID-19, SIAM and ACMA have both requested their Members in OEMs and Auto Component Industry to consider plant shut down for a limited period to overcome the critical period so that workers are not exposed to the virus. This is in line with SIAM's motto of 'Building the Nation, Responsibly'".

The players like Samsung, LG, Vivo and Oppo have already declared to shut down their production activities for different periods. Samsung Mobiles in India confirmed the halt of its production services in the Noida factory till March 25. Samsung’s Noida factory is among the world’s largest smartphone manufacturing unit in the world. As per the reports of Economic Times, dealers like Oppo and Vivo are shutting down their smartphone manufacturing activities till 25 March. The news will be updated as soon as there is any information from these companies.

The previous day, LG confirmed that it is temporarily halting the production in two of its factories in India till the month-end. Xiaomi (Mi) Mobiles adds on to the list as it confirmed that it will follow the lockdown instructions from the authorities. From manufacturing units to warehouses, offices, stores and service stations have confirmed that they are going to follow the lockdown instruction and have decided to examine the progress/situation from time to time.

Motorola Mobiles in India (owned by Lenovo) has joined the queue by declaring the closure shutdown of its manufacturing units but hasn’t updated the duration of this shutdown. The global smartphone market was not able to revive from the downfall of 38% in shipment and now is struck by the shutdown of production and business due to coronavirus outbreak. This might cause a huge loss to the sector and might several months or a couple of years to bring back its profitable days. New Passion Pro BS6

A new variant of the Hero’s popular Passion Pro has also been launched today. Naturally, it’s a BS6 compliant vehicle and comes with a 110cc, XSens programmed fuel injection motor with a power generating capacity of 9.02bhp and 9.79Nm of torque.

The bike has been equipped with a front disk brake. It also has a new headlamp, triple-tone graphics, signature taillamp and real-time mileage indicator on a Digi-analog cluster. There are three color options - Sports Red, Techno Blue, Moon Yellow and Glaze Black color, and two variants - self drum alloy and self disc alloy.

New Glamour BS6

Another highlight of the event was the launch of the BS6 variant of another popular Hero Glamour, which is a 125cc commuter bike. The new variant will have 125cc, XSens programmed fuel injection engine which is BS6 compliant. It will produce 10.73bhp of peak power and 10.6Nm of torque.

Same as the Passion Pro BS6, this one also comes with a front disk brake. It has a new headlamp, alloy wheels and LED taillights, among other things. The color options include Sports Red, Techno Blue, Tornado Grey, and Candy Red. Two variants are self drum alloy and self disc alloy.

All three new Hero two-wheelers are built on a diamond frame. Both the BS6 bikes get the company’s auto sail technology and i3S (idle start-stop system).

The two commuters launched by Bajaj encounters a price hike, at INR 40,794, BS6 Bajaj CT100 goes up by INR 7,392 from the earlier version’s price of INR 33,402. Now, the cost of the BS6 100cc Platinas is INR 47,264 for the kick-start version and INR 54,797 for the electric-start. All prices, ex-showroom Delhi. The cost of all the three models of BS6 is around INR 6,000-7,000 more than the BS4 models.

The up-gradation to BS6 signifies that both the models - CT and Platina now use fuel injection mechanism and featured with revised exhaust systems.

Unlike silver finishing in the BS4 model, the components like chain cover, engine casing and fork on the BS6 CT100 comes in black finishing. However, the Bajaj CT100 does not boast any considerable changes, neither the company has announced any changes in Platina. We still need to wait for the complete list of revamps introduced in the commuters.

Maruti Suzuki is adamant to comply with the government’s vision of reducing the oil imports and improving the consumption of natural gas (from currently 6.2% to 15% in 2030) and to go in-line with the norms of the government the company has stood up with its new S-CNG vehicle range.

The iCube electric scooter is priced at Rs 1.15 lakh (on-road price, Bangalore). Interested people can book it by paying 5 thousand rupees on the TVS website or company dealership. The company will give dedicated customer relationship assistance to buy this scooter. In addition, the company is also offering attractive schemes to customers through TVS credit.

TVS iQube is currently available only in Bengaluru. Additionally, as per the company’s officials, the scooter will be available in Bangalore from January 27, 2020, at the company's 10 dealerships. TVS iCube will be available in other metro cities after some time.

The price details of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series has been leaked by Max Weinbach of XDA Developers. According to the sources, the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G would be labelled with a price tag between EUR 900-1,000 i.e. approx INR 71,000-78,900. On the other side, the Galaxy S20+ 5G and the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G would be price labelled between EUR 1,050-1,100 or INR 82,800-86,700 and EUR 1,300 or INR 1,02,500, respectively.
Aforementioned prices are in consonance with the prices reported by a French website on Tuesday.

Besides, the prices of the Galaxy S20 series, the price revelation of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has been claimed by Weinbach. The foldable smartphone is expected to be launched at approx EUR 1,400 (approx INR 1,10,400) which is cheaper in comparison to the Galaxy Fold. However, the price tag is higher than what was reported initially this week i.e. $860 and $1,295 (approx INR 61,200-92,100). The reported pricing is higher than the price label of EUR 1,100 (approx INR 94,600) for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro in the European markets.

Another claim regarding pricing was made by South Korean publication Naver, according to which the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip would be released at KRW 1.6 million (approx INR 97,800). It is reported that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip will have a clamshell design along with an ultra-thin glass (UTG) panel to curtail the crease and give a more strong look than what was seen in the foldable smartphones of the previous-generation.

However, with this charger, it will take 16 to 18 hours to get fully charged. The ZS EV has been priced at Rs 20.88 lakh (Excite) and 23.58 lakh (Exclusive) in the Indian market. KTM 390 Adventure mesmerized the audience with its first look and features in EICMA 2019, but the prices were yet to be revealed by the company.

The features in the 390 Adventure Indian version are slightly different from its international counterparts. As in, the KTM 390 Adventure (India) comes with Metzeler Tourance tyres 100/90-19 tyre (front) and a 130/80-17 tyre (back).

In terms of interior design, the new Aura seems remarkably similar to the Nios. Some of the interior things including the dashboard, controls, seats and switchgear are the same as the hatchback. The sedan, however, comes with a few new instruments, including a 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, a rear centre armrest, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system integrated with Hyundai’s iBlue audio remote smartphone application and enabled with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and paired to an Arkamys sound system, a cooled glovebox, and a driver rearview monitor.

The Eeco BS6 launched by Maruti Suzuki is initially priced at Rs. 3.81 Lakhs for sale in India going up to Rs. 4.21 Lakhs for 5 seater AC variant. Eeco BS6 represents the hike in the price up to Rs. 20,000 to 30,000 depending on its various models.
Please Note: The aforesaid prices are for the Eeco BS6 petrol model as the brand still needs to release the prices of its CNG version.

TECHNICAL OUTLOOK

Talking about the engine, Maruti has again processed its G-Series engine to get installed in its upcoming ventures like the Eeco BS6 model rather than using K-Series which was utilized for cars like Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Ignis, WagonR and Swift. The reason to bring back in the G-Series is simply that the older 1.2-liter unit can be mounted longitudinally and send power to the rear wheels, which is not possible with the K12 engine.

As per ARAI, the fuel efficiency of the Maruti’s BS6 version is higher than its BS4 version and it is up from 15.37kpl to 16.11kpl.b. Whereas there are no alterations in the power figure (i.e. 73bhp). 98 Nm torque is produced by the engine.

There are no such cosmetic changes in Eeco BS6. Maruti has confirmed that over 6.5 lakh units of MPV are already sold since it was launched in 2010. Comparing to other brands in the automobile sector, the sales of Maruti Suzuki Eeco has shown a rise during 2019 against its units sold in 2018.

The interior design, layout, and features are inspired by the Audi A6. The AC vents are integrated into the Dashboard as strips which gives a neat look and finish to the interiors.

Rivals for the Q8 include Range Rover Sport, Porsche Cayenne Coupe, and the BMW X6.

The Jeep Compass diesel automatics longitude variant costs around Rs 4 lakh more than its manual model. It is powered by a BS6 engine and the list of features includes a 9-speed automatic gearbox and 4-wheel drive system. Due to these features, its price increased higher than the manual gearbox model. However, the price of Jeep Compass diesel automatics Limited Plus is about ₹1.9 lakh more than its manual model.

So far, only its top model in the Jeep Compass range, the Compass Trailhawk, was available in a diesel engine-automatic gearbox. Its price is between ₹26.80 lakh to ₹27.60 lakh. After the launch of both these new variants, the diesel-automatic model of the Compass SUV is now available at a low price of about ₹4.8 lakh. Both of these new diesel-automatic variants of the compass are BS6 compliant 2-liter diesel engines, which generate 173hp power. The engine is equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

The Jeep Compass diesel automatics longitude variant features 17-inch alloy wheels, ABS, electronic stability control (ESC), traction control, hill start assist and disc brakes in all four wheels are standard. Hero MotoCorp launched Hero HF Deluxe as the country's first 100 cc BS6-compliant motorcycle with a starting price of Rs 55,925 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is their second BS6-compliant motorcycle. The Newly launched HF Deluxe BS6 features a 100 cc programmed fuel injection (PFI) engine. It also packed with the XSens technology which includes 10 sensors.

It is offered with a 4-speed gearbox, and the motor makes 7.94 bhp & 8.05 Nm of peak torque. The company also claims in their statement that the Hero HF Deluxe BS6 will offer 9 percent better mileage, Efficient and consistent start-ability, and longer engine life. It also sports the i3S (idle start-stop system). However, the BS6 i3S variant costs Rs 57,250 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Body of Hero HF Deluxe is made with a high tensile steel frame. It sports telescopic hydraulic shocks at the front and 2-step adjustable hydraulic shocks at the rear. There are 130 mm drums and 18-inch tires at both the ends. The Moter cycle measures 1,965 mm in length, 1,045 mm in height, and 720 mm in width. The bike gets a ground clearance of 165 mm and a wheelbase of 1,235 mm. The newly launched Hero HF Deluxe BS6 also available in new colour options and graphics. It gets fresh paint schemes of Techno Blue and Heavy Grey with Green. Additionally, the motorcycle features black with purple, black with red and black with grey colour combinations.

The HF Deluxe BS6 will be available from the beginning of January 2020 at all the Hero MotoCorp showrooms across the country. 

Mahindra touched this milestone while it has begun updating the entire lineup of cars to meet BS6 emission norms. The Mahindra XUV300 has both petrol and diesel engine variants. The XUV300 1.2-litre turbo petrol motor generates 110 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. Whereas the 1.5-liter turbo diesel powertrain delivers 115 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. The XUV300 BS4 and BS6 petrol variants feature a standard 6-speed manual gearbox, whereas the diesel powertrain has a 6-speed auto-shift transmission option as well.

If we talk about features then the Mahindra XUV300 BS6 shares its platform with SsangYong Tivoli and comes in four variants W4, W6, W8 and Mahindra XUV300 W8 (Optional Pack). The notable specification highlights include projector headlamps with LED DRLs, heated ORVMs, electric sunroof, diamond-cut alloy wheels, dual-zone FATC, 17.78 cm touchscreen infotainment system, front parking sensors, cruise control, seven airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, and ESP with roll-over mitigation etc.

On the interior, the cabin of the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV has been revamped with the black shade scheme. KTM Duke 250

In the new Hyundai Santro Anniversary Edition, you will get to notice major changes at the skin of the car. Including gloss black accents on the roof rails, ORVMs and door handle, and grey finished wheel covers, cladding on the doors as well as a chrome strip and anniversary badging on the base of the boot. The interior design of the new S-Presso is not away from the one that was displayed during the Future S concept 2018. An all-black theme with orange-coloured bits is present inside the car. The interior desired is very much inspired by the modern-day Minis as expected. It comes with a centrally mounted instrument cluster with a digital speedometer and tachometer. The infotainment system is positioned right below the instrument cluster whereas the central AC vents are flanked on either side of the instrument console. Safety Specs:

In terms of safety, the all-new S-Presso complies will all the modern-day safety norms proposed by the Indian government with features like ABS, seat-belt reminders, a driver-side airbag, rear parking sensors, a digital speedometer, and a speed alert system. All these features come as standard. Maruti also provides an extensive list of car accessories in its Option Pack, which is available on all variants except the top-spec. On the other hand, the top-spec S-Presso variant comes with features like a manual air conditioner, Maruti’s 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system, and door handles, and a 12V accessory socket, steering-mounted controls, rear parcel tray, and body-coloured ORVMs.

Power & Mileage:

The major highlight of all-new S-Presso is Maruti’s BS6-compliant 1.0-litre K10B petrol power mill that churns out a power of 68hp with 90 Nm of torque. This upgraded engine is also likely to debut on the likes of Wagon R, Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, and Celerio in the coming months. A 5-speed manual or AMT is also present in this new hatch as a gearbox option. Surprisingly, the lower-spec variants of S-Presso have an ARAI-certified mileage figure of 21.4kpl while the higher VXi and VXi+ variants are rated at 21.7kpl without any certification.

As far as competition is concerned, S-Presso will target directly at the Renault Kwid which is currently priced in the range of INR 2.76 lakh to INR 4.75 lakh. Given the fact that the new Kwid has also been updated recently, the competition in the newly-formed micro SUV segment is ready to go one level up. Datsun Redi Go 1.0 starting at INR 3.90 lakh is another effective alternate for Kwid and S-Presso in this segment.

The aspect which will engage your focus on the Elantra facelift is its powertrain. As the company has discontinued its 1.6-litre diesel engine trim with a maximum power generation of 128hp. Now it will only be available with a single 2.0-litre petrol engine with 152hp/192Nm of power figures. However, the gearbox transmission in combination will be either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic shared from the outgoing Hyundai Elantra model. In addition to this, the powertrain has now been updated to comply with the upcoming BS-6 emission norms. Though no reduction in the fuel efficiency is noticed as for both, the petrol-manual and petrol-automatic, the ARAI claimed mileage accounts at 14.6kpl.

The most notable of the changes appear on its exterior front. Since, the updated Elantra receives the brand’s signature ‘cascading grille’, which makes it a proud member of the new Hyundai family. Not even this, the signature grille is flanked by reworked headlamps with LED DRLs. The bonnet now is a muscular unit with appropriate cuts and creases. There are triangular fog lamps and a new set of alloy wheels to complete fascia of the refreshed sedan. While moving ahead to the rear of the sedan, it gets a re-profiled bumper and newly developed tail-lights which approaches to the boot-lid. The new Elantra is available in five colours to choose from, which are red, white, silver, black and blue.

Inside the cabin, the new Elantra gets additional features such as brand’s patented new 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system (Compatible to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), an 8-speaker Infinity sound system, wireless charging and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The new to Hyundai’s family, connectivity suite - BlueLink - which was initially offered with the Venue compact SUV, is also the part of brand exotic features. While the features such as leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, cooled front seats, 10-way power-adjustable driver seat, an electric sunroof, hands-free tailgate opening, cruise control and front parking sensor, will continue to be provided with the top-end variants. On the other hand, the standard safety features list consists of six airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control and hill-start assist.

The new Hyundai Elantra facelift is being offered with a 3-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty pack as standard which includes other benefits like roadside assistance and free maintenance up to three years or 30,000km. Also, the customers will be rewarded with a 3-year Hyundai BlueLink subscription. Priced at INR 15.89 lakh, the refreshed Elantra is about INR 1.5-2 lakh costlier above the outgoing model (depending on the variant). However, it is sensibly priced to take mettle with petrol-powered rivals in the executive sedan segments like the Skoda Octavia, Honda Civic and the Toyota Corolla Altis.

The highlights which make the SUV stand apart in the crowd includes blacked-out treatment at the skin with components such as the grille frame and slats with a Titanium Black Gloss finish, Titan Black Gloss stripes on the door with Quattro embossing, the moldings on the windows, High Gloss Finish on roofline and Titanium Black Matt on the rear diffuser. Inside the cabin, the Q7 Black Edition shares the same features from the Audi Q7 Technology Trim, the range-topping variant of the standard line. In terms of pricing, the Q7 Black price INR 1 lakh over the Q7 in Technology trim. The Q7 Black Edition is being offered with two engine options the 45 TFSI petrol and the 45 TDI diesel at the respective pricing of INR 82.15 lakh and INR 86.30 lakh.

Other than the launch of the Q7 Black Edition, the Audi India runs a programme for the festive season which is valid till September 30. With this programme, the buyers will be benefited with the 30 per cent depreciation schemes of the Government of India.

In its segment, the Audi Q7 locks horns with the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE in the Indian market. In addition to this, the facelift model of the Q7 has also been showcased in International markets and it is expected to hit the country sometimes next year.

In its facelift avatar, the Hyundai Elantra did not receive much even for the sharper styling and a slightly revised interior. However, the factor which will let you think twice is the Korean carmaker is going to introduce this updated Elantra only with petrol engine option. Yes, it’s true, no diesel engine variant is going to be provided from Hyundai anytime soon. But we can expect it in the coming future.

Under the hood, there will be only a petrol engine which would be a refined iteration of the existing 152hp, 2.0-litre unit to comply with the BS-6 emission norms. While the power transmission will be managed by the same 6-speed manual and torque converter auto transmissions of the outgoing model.

The reason why Hyundai dropped the idea of producing diesel engines is there less demand in the small volumes executive sedan segment. If the ratio of petrol-diesel engines is considered in this segment, the Hyundai Elantra sales registered at 214-90 units from April-July this year. While the other models like the Honda Civic recorded 1058-110 units, the Skoda Octavia: 580-253 units, and the Toyota Corolla Altis in the count of 402-80 units.

For its diesels, the Korean carmaker has already announced that it will introduce its BS-6 compliant diesels only when the BS-6 fuel would be available across the country. The diesel engine which powers the outgoing Elantra is a 1.6-litre, 128hp unit which also performs powering duties on the models like the Verna and the Creta. Sooner the company will discontinue this option to make a way for the Hyundai-Kia combines’ latest 1.5-litre diesel engine that has been provided in the recently launched Kia Seltos SUV. This engine unit will be the mainstay for Hyundai Motors and Kia in the diesel engine variants in India and will be provided in the two states of tune-90hp and 115hp.

The executive sedan segment is going through a very bad phase due to the inhabiting slowdown in the Indian automotive industry. But the carmaker can just hope for the best with its upcoming Hyundai Elantra Facelift which is likely to be tagged with the price sticker of INR 14-19 lakh (ex-showroom, Pan India).

TRD Celebratory Edition - How it Looks

In terms of styling, TRD Celebratory Edition is an impression of Fortuner’s 2017 model TRD Sportivo but has some new elements which make it different from the previous model. Talking about the appearance, the model comes in pearl white color with a dual-tone back roof. The car’s front shows a TRD badge on the grille and a new bumper with a faux skid plate. Unlike previous editions, this time you get to notice the all-black 18-inch alloy wheels which are not available in standard 2WD AT Fortuner. Under the hood, the Renault Triber is loaded with an engine that is an improved iteration of the Kwid’s 1.0-litre (BR10), three-cylinder petrol mill. The engine is said to churn out a maximum power of 72hp and 96Nm of torque in association with a 5-speed manual transmission. With this engine-gearbox configuration, the car can attain the ARAI-claimed mileage of 20kmpl. It is expected that the company could introduce a turbocharged iteration of the 1.0-litre petrol engine in coming future along with an AMT gearbox option. The provided 1.0-litre petrol engine option is BS4-compliant for now which is expected to be upgraded with the BS-6 compliant one before the April 2020 deadline.

The top of the line Triber variants comes packed with features such as an an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality, a digital instrument cluster, AC vents in all three rows, a cooled centre box, keyless entry, push-button start/stop, power windows, projector headlamps with LED DRLs and a rear wash-wipe. While at the safety front, the hatchback is loaded with three-point seat belts on all rows, ABS, reverse parking sensors and at least two airbags. In addition to this, you will get a top-spec variant with the added features likewise front-side airbags and a rear parking camera as well.

The Triber rests on Renault’s modular CMF-A+ platform the unit which is shared from its sibling the Kwid hatchback. But considering the pricing of the Triber (INR 4.95-6.49 lakh), the car will lock horns with the models such as the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R 1.0 (UBR 4.34-5.33 lakh) and the petrol-powered Hyundai Grand i10 (INR 5.02-7.09 lakh) as well as Ford Figo (INR 5.23-7.70 lakh).

With its Triber the French Carmaker is pondering that with qualities such as compact size, spacious interiors and flexible seating configuration, it would be easier to pull the audience from similar size B segment hatchbacks at such pricing.

Dimensionally, the Seltos is 4,315mm in length, 1,800mm in width and 1,620mm in height. If compare it with the Hyundai Creta, the Seltos is slighter longer and wider. 
At the fascia, the SUV is embellished with Kia’s ‘Tiger Nose’ grille which is flanked by automatic LED headlights with LED DRLs along with a faux skid-plate. While the rear of the car is blessed with the LED tail-lights associated with a chrome strip which sports the Kia logo. In addition to this, the rear section gets faux twin-exhaust outlets and a skid plate as well. 

Inside the cabin, the buyers are availed with the choice of two interior colour schemes. Wherein the GT Line of variants which are sportier receives an all-black interior treatment with red stitching. Under the hood, the Seltos is being offered with three engine option-two petrol and one diesel. FYI, all three powertrains comply with the upcoming BS-IV emission norms. In terms of colours, the company offers six options of Brave Khaki, Nexa Blue, Magma Grey, Auburn Red, Arctic White and Premium Silver. 

Inside the cabin, the carmaker opted for an all-black theme instead of a beige theme offered in the standard Ertiga.

The onboard features on both XL6 variants consist of LED DRLs, keyless entry with push-button start/stop, automatic climate control, rear air-con vents, cruise control and height-adjustable driver’s seat. In addition to this, the brand equipped the XL6 with its new SmartPlay Studio infotainment unit which encompasses a 7.0-inch touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. The features like automatic headlamps and a rear parking camera are additional with the top-spec Alpha variant. 

At the safety front, the MPV is blessed with features such as dual front airbags, seat belt reminders for the front row occupants, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, and a speed warning system as well which will remind you with exceeding the speed limit. 

In terms of power, the carmaker equipped the XL6 with a similar 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that performs propelling duty on the Ciaz sedan and the standard Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, under the hood. The BS-IV compliant powertrain is rated to develop the maximum power of 105hp along with 138Nm of torque whereas the presence of Maruti’s SHVS mild-hybrid technology ensures better fuel efficiency. The gearbox options on the MPV is a 5-speed manual unit and a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox as well. 

The brand has confirmed the availability of the XL6 at its premium range of dealerships, the Nexa not at the Arena dealerships which avail the Ertiga for the buyers. In its segment, the XL6 seeks competition with the likes of the Honda BR-V, the Mahindra Marazzo, and the Hyundai Creta and recently updated Renault Duster in the SUV segment.

According to a top official of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), about 10 lakh people could get unemployed in the coming days if this market’s sluggish situation continues.

ACMA President Ram Venkataramani further said that most auto components maker firms have opted for a reduction in working days to overcome this sluggish situation. Still, layoffs are happening at a very low scale because the manufacturers know how hard is to meet trained employees again.

According to him, it is an unprecedented crisis in the automotive industry. It is happening due to vehicle manufacturers have cut down production by 15-20 per cent which results in a crisis for the auto component sector.

As per facts, the automotive component industry contributes 2.3 per cent in the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) while it has a 25 per cent market share in manufacturing GDP along with employment to 5 million people in the sector.

If sales of the industry are considered, as compared to the sales of 3.95 lakh crore (14.5 % hike on Y-o-Y basis) during the last financial year, the current sale is almost flat in the running fiscal.

In April 2020, the auto industry is set to switch to BS-VI emission norms for which the manufacturers are upgrading their vehicles to comply with the upcoming emission norms as standard. The next-generation Audi A8 will be available to purchase globally in two variants-standard (A8) and long-wheelbase (A8 L). Alongside, the previous generation model will also be continued to be on sale. The Indian market is expected to get the availability of the long-wheelbase (A8 L) version.

Automobile Industry in Current Scenario

Statistics show the decline in the selling rate of the passenger vehicle by 18.42% in the month of April-June 2019. Further, in the group of passenger vehicles, the selling rate of cars and utility vehicles and vans have declined by 23.32 %, 4.53% and 25.66% respectively.

Surveys from the desks of Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) depict that in India around 2 Lakh people have ceased their automobile dealership in the last three months. The companies believe that the GST rate of 28% in the automobiles is the cause of depressed sales and are expecting a reduction. The Panigale V4 25° Anniversario 916 is a limited edition model which is developed to pay homage to the brand's iconic 916 for completing 25 years. It is a limited edition motorcycle which is produced only in limited counts of 500 units. It is more expensive in all Panigale V4 iterations. The Ducati 916 based on which this special edition is developed is known for most impressive racing statistics likewise 120 race wins, eight constructors' titles and six riders' titles.

1. BMW HP4 Race

Price – Rs 86.70 lakh

Priced at INR the BMW HP4 Race is the most expensive motorcycle and top the list. The qualities which attract the most towards this exclusive BMW motorcycle is the extensive use of carbon fibre. For your information, it is the first motorcycle in the world which uses mainframe thoroughly developed with carbon fibre and it is just 7.8kg in weight. 

Other than this, the wheels setup is also fabricated with carbon-fibre and the use of several lightweight components helps the German bike maker in keeping the BMW HP4 Race Bike weight at just 171kg. Even the standard variant of the same tips at 208kg. Furthermore, most of its components are premium in nature while the powertrain has been tuned to roll out 215hp. The Triumph Bike Rocket 3 will be offered in two versions, the 2020 Rocket 3 R and GT. The former is a street roadster iteration of the motorcycle while the GT will cater the crusier segment. The powertrain and most of the components will be shared units on both the bikes.

As the company claims, the underpinned powertrain of 2,500cc, is the latest and first in use largest motor on any mass-produced motorcycle. The liquid-cooled, in-line, three-cylinder mill is capable of generating the peak power of 167hp at 6,000rpm along with 221Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. The churned power output from the motor in question is claimed 11 percent more over the last generation model. In the engine displacment range, the new Rocket 3 models will see competition with the Ducati Bike Diavel 1260 which features L-twin motor and uses 129Nm of peak torque.

As claimed by the company, new Triumph Rocket 3 can complete 0-100kmph spirint in just 2.79sec.

Besides being most powerful, the engine weighs 18kg lower than the 2300cc engine used in the previous generation model. The company managed to attain these figures by including a newly designed crank case assembly, lubrication system and balancer shaft. If compares going to be launched Rocket 3 model to its predecessor, the former is 40kg lighter in overal weight. On the weighing scale, the Rocket 3 R tips at 291kg while the Rocket 3 GT weighs 394kg.

The new Rocket 3 models will come packed with a new set of IMU-supported electronics. It would help in controlling the vehicle with such intense power output. The instrument cluster on the new Rocket 3 models is shared from the previous generation model. It provides mulitiple screen modes and can be connected to the smarptphones with the use of Bluetooth module accessory available on sale in the market.

The Rocket 3 R is a roadster motorbike with a sportier riding position. The motorcycle gets a flat, single-piece handlebar which offers a slightly relaxed riding position, with the availabilty of forward-set foot pegs, a lower seat positioning at the height of 750mm (773mm on the R model). The alloy wheel setup for the propelling of the motorcycle are same on both the models. While the GT receives chrome accents on its bodywork. Both motorcycles uses massive, specially designed Avon Cobra tyres of measuring 150/80 R17 up front and 240/50 R16 at the rear wheel. All in all, the new Triumph Rocket 3 are stunning apparently.

Hero Glamour was at No. 6 with 69,878 units sold, which was slightly more over the registered 69,379 units in May 2019. Once this 125cc executive commuter was one of the strong contenders in the market. But now it seems to lose its shine in the segment and the bikemaker would require to take some corrective measures to keep this bike going in the segment.

Bajaj Platina seized the seventh place in the list of top 10 two-wheelers in June 2019. It gets a total of 56,947 happy customers during the last month. TVS Jupiter, the second most selling automatic scooter in the Indian biking industry, gets the eight position in the list with a total of 56,254 units sold. Its May 2019 sale was also almost identical at 56,797 units. The Kawasaki Z650 is built on a steel-trellis frame while the CFMoto 650NK rests on a tubular chassis. As the CFMoto claims, the chassis is built from a lightweight yet high strength alloy steel.

At the suspension front, both the motorcycles use telescopic forks up front and a mono-shock at the rear. However, the difference you will find out in placement of mono-shock, the Z650’s mono-shock is mounted off-centre as like the previous generation of the Kawasaki ER-6n model.

Oppo K3 is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone which features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display with the aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and in-display fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 on top and get powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC in association with 6GB and 8GB LPDDR4x RAM options.

On the photography end, the smartphone maker furnished the K3 with a dual-camera setup at the rear and a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor upfront for shooting selfies. The rear camera setup comprises of a 16-megapixel primary Sony IMX519 sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The elevating camera is as quick as slide up in just 0.74 seconds and has a life span of five years as the company claims.

In addition to this, the features like an AI scene detection and AI portrait mode along with an Ultra Clear Night View 2.0, are also being provided to enhance user’s photography experience.

Being offered with the storage options of 64GB and 128GB, the Oppo K3 is backed by 3,765mAh battery setup which uses 0ppo's VOOC 3.0 support for fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone is loaded with options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB.

"The K3 amalgamates the stylish design and latest technology to bring out the best user experience. For the above-mentioned addition of safety features, the company is asking for a premium of up to INR 12,000 while the top-spec variant of the same attracts a hike of INR 4,000 over the previous generation model. Now, the pricing for the RediGo starts at INR 2.80 lakh and goes up to INR 4.37 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).

Other than newly introduced safety features, the variants of the Redigo has also been altered. Now the company has discontinued earlier mid-spec T(O) variant from the current lineup.

Besides this, no modifications are observed in the Redi Go hatchback. It continues to be powered by the same powertrain options including 0.8-litre petrol motor with 54hp and a 5-speed manual gearbox, and a 1.0-litre petrol engine with 68hp mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.

Lately introduced safety features hints that Datsun Car would continue to produce Redi Go until the arrival of new safety norms, So we can expect a facelift version of the hatchback that will comply with the crash test norms and the pedestrian safety norm as well. The next safety norms will be affected across the country on August 2020.

How this safety update will affect the sales of Datsun Redi Go is yet to be seen? We expect it would be able to compete hard with the best sellers in the segment like the Renault Kwid and the Maruti Suzuki Alto.

Other than the colour scheme, no changes are observed on the bike at cosmetics and mechanical front as well. Cosmetically, the standard Gixxer SF model has recently witnessed changes for the model year 2019. Wherein, the model has got new fairing, sharp-looking LED headlight, a new slip seat setup instead of the earlier single-seat unit and clip-on handlebar as well.

Mechanically, the powering for this special edition model will come from the same 154.9cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine of the last generation model. In integration with a five-speed gearbox unit, the engine is rated to develop 14.1PS of power at 8,000rpm and 14Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm.

Price of Oppo A9

In India, the Oppo A9 is being offered only in a single 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, which will cost you INR 15,490. The sale for the smartphone will commence from July 20 and it will be available to purchase from both the platforms (online and offline stores).

In its price segment, the Oppo A9 will lock horns with the likes of Samsung Galaxy M30 INR 14,990, Redmi Note 7 Pro INR 14,500 and the Realme 3 Pro INR 14,190 in the country. However, the options such as the Realme 3 Pro and Redmi Note 7 Pro are way far advanced than the Oppo A9 in terms of provided features and turned out as a better option for a consumer. Before its launch in India, the Oppo A9 has marked its presence in China at the beginning of 2019. There, it is available to purchase at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 18,000).

Specifications and features of Oppo A9

The Oppo A9 is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone which runs on ColorOS 6, based on Android Pie. The India pricing of Mi A3 is not unveiled yet. However, its pricing in Spain stands at EUR 249 (roughly Rs. 19,200) for the 64GB storage variant while the 128GB storage option will cost you around EUR 279 (roughly Rs. 21,500). The smartphone is all set to go on sale in Europe from July 24, the Mi A3 will be offered in colour options such as Blue, White, and Gray.

Specifications and features of Mi A3

The Mi A3 is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone which runs Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. It gets a 6.08-inch HD+ (720x1560 pixels) AMOLED display with a water drop-style notch and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The Mi A3 comes with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and features an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC in association with 4GB of RAM.

On the photography front, the Mi A3 is studded with triple rear camera setup  including a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 118-degree wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor for depth sensing. Where the front gets a 32-megapixel camera sensor for shooting selfies.

In terms of storage, the Xiaomi offers two storage options of 64GB and 128GB, which comes with the facility of further expansion with the use of microSD card. In terms of connectivity, the Mi A3 provides options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone is backed by a battery pack of 4,030mAh.

The top of the line scooter, the Emerge which sports a retro design language seems more or less identical to old Vespa scooters. It comes finished in three vibrant colour options including red, black and yellow and gets features such as all-LED headlamp, digital instrument cluster, central locking and reverse assist as its major highlights. The battery pack on this flagship model is a portable lithium-ion unit unlike others and it gives the freedom of changing the battery as well.

In terms of power, the e-scooter is armed with a BLDC motor which is capable of developing 250 watts of power from 48V 28Ah lithium-ion battery. In a single charge, the battery can returns travel range of 70km to 80km. While to charge it up, it requires 4-5 hours for a full charge.

At the suspension front, the e-scooter is equipped with a telescopic fork up front and dual shocks absorbers at the rear. While braking duties on the Emerge is handled by a disc brake on the front wheel and drum brakes on the rear.

Dressed up in a more conventional design, the Raptor seems like the Honda Grazia in the 125cc scooter segment. At the featuring front, the Raptor keeps the same set of features being offered with the flagship Emerge. However, the portable lithium-ion battery is not part of Raptor scooter. It uses a 12V 32Ah x 4 lead-acid battery which is claimed to return travel range of 75km to 80km on a single charge, which takes 5-7 hours of charging. The powering on both the Raptor and the Neo scooters is managed by the same BLDC motor with similar power output as of the Emerge.

The Neo is the low-spec variant in all the three scooters launched from Tecno Electric. It is powered by the same lead-acid battery and rests on identical underpinnings of the Raptor as well. However, the advanced feature of reverse assist offered on the Emerge and Raptor missed out here. But, it gets 12-litre under-seat storage, less than others and runs on 10-inch wheels shod up with thinner tyres.

The power output is under 250 watts, which ends up the need of driving licence to ride these scooter options. Also, there is no need for registering these scooters with the RTO. To take care of customers and products after-sales service, the company has a dealership network of 50 showrooms across the country.

Both the K20 series handsets are in the limelight because of the features such as a 3D four curved large arc body with new Aura Prime design, 6.39 inch full HD+ AMOLED display, a pop-up selfie module, 27W fast charging support and octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC.

Before entering the premises of the country, in May both the Redmi phones were revealed in China.

To be noted: Both the variants have similar connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In the core, they have a 4,000mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging tech. The only difference between the two variants is Redmi K20 supports 18W fast charging and Redmi K20 Pro supports 18W charging and also 27W SonicCharge Charging.

The colour options available for the smartphone include Diamond Blue, Diamond Black, and Diamond Red colour scheme.

The Panigale V4 25° Anniversario 916 is tagged with a whopping price tag of INR 54.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India), which makes it the most expensive variant over the other Panigale V4 versions available in the country. The Vivo Z1 Pro is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that runs on Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9 on top. It gets a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) IPS display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The first in class octa-core Snapdragon 712 SoC processor power the smartphone in association with 6GB RAM and Adreno 616 GPU.

On the photography front, the Vivo Z1 Pro comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup including sensors such as a 16-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.78 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 120-degree super wide-angle f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor is also on offer with an f/2.4 depth sensor for bokeh effect especially. The primary camera sports a 30-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens for shooting selfies.

In addition to this, a host of camera features such as Backlight HDR, AI Filter, Portrait Light Effects, Portrait Bokeh, AI Beauty, AI Stickers, and Live Photo are also being provided with the Vivo Z1 Pro.

In terms of storage, the Vivo Z1 Pro gets options of 64GB and 128GB variants while the options such as Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB 2.0 with OTG, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are given to complete connectivity requisites on the smartphone. In addition to this, it gets sensors like a proximity sensor, fingerprint sensor, ambient light, accelerometer, and magnetometer sensor.

The phone is backed up by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging which gives the stand by time of 21 days or 40 hours of voice calling on a single charge. Measures 162.39x77.33x8.85mm dimensionally, the Vivo Z1 Pro weighs 201 grams.

The Spock features a design language favourable for commercial purpose. It gets a large basket in the front and a luggage box replacing pillion seat at the rear. As per the surfaced reports, Li-ion Elektrik has joined hands with Bigbasket for supplying the Spock as a delivery vehicle. Also, 60 per cent of the total sold Spock until now, are meant for serving the e-commerce giants. Besides this, the company is looking forward to collaborating with Amazon and Swiggy to make its scooters part of brands’ delivery chains lineup.

The Spock runs with the support of a 2.1kW motor that gets power from a 2.9kWh swappable battery. It is rated to reach the top speed of 45kmph. The Spock offers a travel range of 130km in Eco mode and 100km in Power mode. In addition to this, a Reverse mode is also provided with the Spock EV. Among major highlights, the scooter gets features like a GPS navigation, an all-digital instrument cluster, a USB charger and an anti-theft alarm as optional. The low seat height of 760mm and lightweight of 90kg without battery makes it easy to manoeuvre for most riders. Rides on 90/90-12 tyres at both ends, this e-scooter has a ground clearance of 200mm.

The claimed figures for the Spock are pretty impressive if compared with others available in the EV segment. However, the output figures returned in real-world scenario will tell the truth about its performance.

Price and Availability of Mi CC9, Mi CC9e, Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition

In China, Xiaomi Mi CC9 is priced at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 18,000) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option whereas the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model will set you back at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 20,000). The available colour options for the model include Dark Prince, Blue Planet and White Lover colour.

On the other side, the pricing for the Xiaomi Mi CC9e starts at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 13,000) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option and goes up to CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 14,000) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 16,000) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The colour options for the CC9e are all identical as of the CC9 variant.

Last but not the least, Xiaomi Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition which is being offered only in a single variant of 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option asks for the pricing of CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 26,000). Available in a White gradient finish only, this custom edition smartphone looks premium in appearance. The hardware components of the CC9 Meitu Custom Edition is identical to the CC9, the elements such as RAM, storage and colour options are the ones which differentiate it from the latter.

The Mi CC9 and Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition variants would be available on sale from July 5 while the Mi CC9e variant would mark its presence in the market on July 9.

The features which also set the new Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition apart from the Mi CC9 is its Meitu camera setup. It also receives Meitu’s unique AI low-light portrait feature as well.

The Mi CC9e packs a 6.39-inch full HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display with 430ppi pixel density and 430 nits peak brightness. It uses Android Pie-based MIUI 10 operating system and gets power from the 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor in integration with 6GB RAM and Adreno 616 GPU. The provided storage options for this variant include 64GB and 128GB which can further be extended up to 256GB via a microSD card.

At the photography front, the Mi CC9 is blessed with a triple camera setup at the rear which includes a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and another 2-megapixel sensor for depth of field. It also offers a range of features such as HDR, super night mode, panorama, portrait mode bokeh, slo-motion video recording at 960fps, 4K video recording.

The selfie camera here is a 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. A wide range of features including AI Portrait Mode, Front Panorama, 3D Beauty, Mimoji Shooting, Front HDR, Gesture Photo, Front Screen Fill, AI Smart Beauty, Face Recognition and more are part of the front camera.

The Mi CC9 is backed up by a 4,030mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It gets connectivity options such as NFC, Bluetooth v5, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, etc. while, the features like face unlock, in-screen fingerprint sensor, Hi-Res audio and Game Turbo 2.0 mode are among other major highlights of the smartphone. It tips at 179 grams on weighing scale and measures 156.8mm in length, 74.5mm in width and 8.67mm in height.

Specifications of Xiaomi Mi CC9e

The Mi CC9e specifications sports a 6.088-inch HD+ (720x1560 pixels) AMOLED display with 350 nits screen brightness and TUV Rheinland certification. It is powered by the 11nm 2.0GHz Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor in association with 4GB and 6GB RAM options. The storage options for the Mi CC9e includes storage of 64GB and 128GB while the storage capacity can further be increased up to 256GB with the use of a microSD card.

The connectivity feature of NFC misses out on the Mi CC9e while the battery setup of 4,030mAh with 18W fast charging is similar to the Mi CC9 variant. It is lighter than Mi CC9 with 173.8 grams and has measures 153.48x71.85x8.4mm dimensionally.

If the pricing of the new CT110 is compared with the ongoing Bajaj CT100 variant, the former is around INR 3,000-6,000 (based on the variants) dearer over the latter. The CT110 is packed with 115cc, single-cylinder, DTS-i engine, the powertrain unit which was initially employed to the Discover and further makes its way to the Platina model late last year. Those who are on a tight budget, the CT110 is the right choice as it features identical powertrain among all and attracts an easily accessible price tag. Priced at INR 53,376-55,373 (ex-showroom Delhi), the Platina is the second best option, it uses the power churn of 8.6hp and 9.81Nm of torque from the said engine.
