SAGMart Reviews on BMW F750 GS STD

What’s Good

BMW F750GS STD comes with lower 815mm seat height, 76bhp power output, smaller and stable chassis. The price of it is less than the standard 850 which offers big GS thrills. BMW F750GS STD has replaced the F700GS. The color options of the BMW F750GS STD will be available in Light White, Austin Yellow Metallic, and Pollux Metallic Matt:

Power and Mileage

The motor is taken from F850GS as it has the same 853cc parallel twin-cylinder motor which gives it the perfect soundtrack and elastic power delivery. The displacement has been increased from 798cc to 853cc and the power has been increased from 10bhp to 94bhp. It can reach up to the speed of 190 kmph:

  • Displacement: 853cc
  • Maximum Power: 77 hp @ 7500 rpm
  • Maximum Torque: 83 Nm @ 6000 rpm
  • Top speed: 190 kmph
  • Mileage: 24.39 kmpl

Riding and Handling

The F750GS has slightly lower-spec cast alloy wheels, slimmer, non-adjustable 41mm right way up fork tubes (the 850 has 43mm upside downers) and a smattering of small detail upgradations. It sits closer to the ground and is easier to handle. For the optimization of the centre of gravity, the 15-litre fuel tank has been shifted from under the seat to between your thighs. The front suspension is telescopic fork and Rear suspension is Cast aluminium dual swing arm, central spring strut, spring pre-load hydraulically adjustable, rebound damping adjustable:

  • Front Wheel travel: 151mm
  • Rear Wheel Travel: 177mm
  • Front Suspension: telescopic fork
  • Rear Suspension: Cast aluminium dual swingarm

Safety

The BMW F750GS STD has superb semi-active rear suspension, a tyre pressure warning system, cruise control, keyless ignition, a multi-function 6.5in colour TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, and a bewildering array. Standard equipment includes two riding modes (Rain and Road), ABS, tactile Brembos, and a basic traction control system:

  • Front Brake: Dual disc brake, floating brake discs
  • Rear Brake: Single disc brake, single-piston floating caliper
  • ABS: BMW Motorrad ABS
  • ASC (automatic stability control)
  • Dynamic ESA (electronic suspension adjustment)

Verdict

The price sticker of the BMW F750GS STD is Rs 11.95 lakh. The BMW F750GS STD will compete with the rivals Triumph Tiger and Ducati Multistrada.
