2019 TVS Apache RR 310 ABS
TVS Motors has been launched the TVS Apache RR 310 in the Indian market. The bike takes its engine performance with BMW 310R, a naked bike from BMW itself. The meaning of Apache RR 310 in the Russian language stands for shark and its design is also inspired by the shark itself. It gets alloy wheels and bulky fuel tank. The front fairing gets the carbon fiber finish.

What's good:
With the backing support of 35 years of motorsport background, the new entry-level motorcycle is a full-faired sports bike. It is designed to serve all-purpose from weekend commute to long distance to occasional track tool. TVS has been putting efforts on the bike from last two years and improved design, handling, performance, and aerodynamics with best engineers, test riders, and racers team. It shares some specifications from the BMW G 310 R but still maintains its stance considering all-new look with TVS design team. It looks absolutely amazing like a multi-cylinder sportbike or full-size sportbike. Some of the attractions are:

Power and mileage:
The sportbike is powered by a four-valve, double overhead cam 312 cc, a single-pot engine which is able to churn out a maximum power of 33.5 bhp at 9700 rpm and a peak torque of 27.3 Nm at 7700 rpm. The maximum speed can reach up to around 135 kmph comfortably, although the bike claims 160 kmph speed. Although the performance varies from street to highways. Overall, the performance of the engine is linear to satisfy riders from sports, college, and office. Some of the attractions are:

Maintenance:
In India, most motorcycle owners control the after sale spending in maintenance. The bike is priced quite reasonably in the country with some required tweaks to make it compatible with Indian environment. It has reversed inclined engine and has double overhead camshafts (DOHC) in relation to a hydraulic cam chain tensioner to reduce the cost of maintenance.
Safety
For safety purpose, the company takes dual channel ABS as standard. Along with 17-inch alloys covered with Michelin Pilot Sports tyres consisting front tyre measuring 110/70 R17 and rear tyre of 150/60 R17. In addition, it has a front 300mm and a rear 240mm disc brakes making it safer while riding.
Verdict:
The bike is priced at Rs. 2.05 lakh (ex-showroom) with numerous styling and design features. The bike will go against the KTM RC 390 in the market. Overall, it is an excellent choice for any kind of rider according to the preference of choice and price.
