Centric is an Indian mobile brand owned by Priyanka Communications India Private Limited (PCIPL), which is the well-known name because of its Priyanka Telecom distribution brand and FRND feature phone brand. The parent company is in operation since 1995, and the main brains behind the formation of this Indian smartphone company are Mr. Mahesh Chandra Agrawal, who has a 45-year experience in infrastructure development and distribution; and Mr. Manish Agrawal, an engineering graduate with two decades of experience.
Centric's latest smartphone in India is the G1, which was launched in February 2017 and comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. The handset has been powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor along with 3GB of RAM. On the optics front, the Centric G1 has an 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The Centric G1 operates on Android 6.0 and is powered by a 2900mAh removable battery and has connectivity options like - Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and 4G LTE.
