Huawei, the networking and telecommunication Equipment Company based in China was founded in 1988 by Ren Zhengfei. The company is headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China and has three core businesses i.e. Telecom Networks, Global Services, and Consulting Services. Huawei has recently overtaken Ericsson and has become the largest telecommunication equipment maker of the globe. Apart from these the company also has Enterprise business to offer wireless communication, network infrastructure, and cloud computing.
The company also offer various services in network technology and other solutions to enhance the capacity of broadband networks. At the moment Huawei serves 45 of the world's top 50 telecom operators which in turn serve one-third of the world's population. Huawei has over 70,000 product and solution R&D employees, comprising more than 45% of our total workforce worldwide. Huawei has set up 16 R&D centers in countries that include Germany, Sweden, the US, France, Italy, Russia, India, and China.
