Nokia is a Finnish mobile company which is now affiliated with the HMD global for the manufacturing and distribution of the Nokia branded handsets. The company was initially founded in the year 1865 and i8s currently operating in more than 130 countries. According to the Fortune Global 500, Nokia is the world's 415th-largest company when measured by 2016 revenues, and is a component of the Euro Stoxx 50 stock market index.

Before the emergence of Android mobiles and other smartphones, Nokia was the ruler of this segment globally. Later, the company was overtaken by Microsoft which uses the brand name to build Windows-based mobile, but, with time this also didn't work. At the moment the company is being governed by HMD Global and this has worked a and the entry in Android mobile market has helped the company to regain the old glory.
