SAGMart Reviews on Lenovo Vibe K5 Note
Pros:
- Average Build Quality
- Excellent screen-to-body ratio
- Main USP is the presence of TheaterMax
- Overall gaming performance is very decent
- Battery backup is great
Cons:
- Buttons are made of Plastic
- No Corning Gorilla Glass protection
- Little heating on the Screen area
- Non-removable Battery
DISPLAY & DESIGN:
The handset features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS LCD display in a way that the screen is little reflective same as was first seen in Vibe K4 Note. However, unlike K4 Note, this gadget equips a brighter screen that gives a better contrast and much better viewing angles.
PERFORMANCE:
The device comes with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor that allows it to give an impressive performance. The user can not only perform daily tasks, but even those activities that take in a lot of processor power like high resolution video streaming and gaming.
The handset offers decent 32GB on-board storage, regardless of whether user opts for the 3 GB RAM variant or 4 GB RAM variant with expansion support of up to 256 GB which in no circumstance can get less for a normal user. However, since it's a hybrid slot so some users may find themselves at a junction of choosing to use either their second SIM or the microSD card.
CAMERA:
The company has surely taken care of the users need by upgrading the resolution of its new Vibe K5 Note camera. The presence of 8-megapixel camera on the front panel definitely promises of giving a super picture quality. The addition of 13-megapixel ISOCELL camera on the back side adds as a cherry on the cake for Vibe K5 Note users. The camera quality works best even in artificial lighting and low-light conditions.
BATTERY:
Lenovo Vibe K5 Note houses a 3,500mAh non-removable battery that on a normal usage can last for up to 3 whole days. Though its pretty much less than its competitors like Xiaomi Mi Max that feature 4,850mAh battery, but despite that, the company promises the users won't be facing any lag issues.
VERDICT (8/10):
The presence of TheaterMax on the device makes it stand apart from other smartphones of its league. Take that away, and it still would be satisfying the basic needs of its customers well enough. Despite giving a non-removable battery with the gadget, the smartphone by far has been able to give an excellent battery backup. On the pricing fronts as well, the smartphone can be considered under the line with a price rate of Rs 11,999 for 3GB variant and Rs 13,499 for 4GB RAM variant.
