The Swedish luxury car manufacturer, Volvo has introduced the performance based R-Design models for its S90 Sedan and V90 estate models. The two new R-Design models get an advanced sport chassis along with minor cosmetic updates on both interior and exterior.
Having a look at its appearance, both the new cars get a newly design tweaked front-end. The front fascia of these cars features a unique horizontal grille that has replaced the regular vertical chrome grille, and down there you will find a sportier bumper with the integrated foglamps.
The new performance based R-Design models also feature a get a new set of five-spoke diamond -cut matte black alloy wheels. Whereas, the rear section did not get major updates expect the piano black finish between the dual exhausts.
The much notable changes are done on the interior, both the new models get black sporty contour seats, a tweaked steering wheel and an interior illumination package.
No changes have been made under the hood, as both the new S90 & V90 R-Design models get the same powertrain as the regular models have. The only change includes the new sport chassis that will now deliver a sporty, road hugging and an energetic drive.
The official price for these performance based R-Design models are yet-to-be-revealed by the Swedish marquee, though they are expected to get a price tag of £38,500 (INR 38.5 Lakh) for the S90 R-Design and £40,500 (INR 40.5 Lakh) for the V90 R-Design.
