Watch the Utmost Battle of Machines: Nissan GT-R - The SuperCar v/s The Drone

Nissan has created a history by unveiling the ‘GT-R Drone’, a true machine which really meant to be quick. Specially built to keep up while filming on the track with one of the fastest supercars across the globe, the Nissan GT-R.

If you really need aerial shots of Nissan GT-R that rockets from 0 to 100 kmph in less than 3 seconds, you must need a missile with a camera on it, to capture the shots. But there is no need of that, as you got the Nissan GT-R Drone - custom designed by World Drone Pix Champion (Tornado X-Blades Racing) to cover the GT-R supercar on the track. Yeah! The GT-R Drone gets a special race tuned configuration and a low-drag canopy to accelerate from a standstill to 100 kmph in just 1.3 seconds.

Considering the power of both these machines, the supercar Nissan GT-R is powered by a twin turbocharged 3.8-litre 24-valve V6 engine, whereas the 700 grams piece of technology, the Nissan GT-R Drone is fitted with 4 propellers mated to 2000kV XNova motor and a race specification sky-hero quadcopter frame. Moreover, each propeller is individually paired with a high-performance motor.

Now is the time for performance, both the Nissan machines use innovative technology and engineering to get the maximum out from them. Both the GT-R went head-to-head on a special track of 1.93 km at Silverstone circuit in the UK to show their inherent ability. The supercar was driven by Ricardo Sanchez, the Nissan NISMO driver, while the Drone was being controlled by James Bowles, the British National Drone Racing Champion in 2015.

From the battle two facts can be considered, when it comes to being quick off the mark, the GT-R Drone is infinitely more agile than the car with a turning radius of just 0.3 meters.

Whereas, instead of being quickest off the mark, the GT-R supercar does a far better than Drone as it can reach almost double the top speed that of the Drone.
