2014 Hero Xtreme made its entry in India Market with price tag of Rs. 67,362

Hero Moto Corp is the biggest Indian two wheeler manufacturing company which has been achieved the heights with their style and quality bikes. Company first served with Honda and was known as Hero Honda but dispute among both made it work as an independent unit. Hero Motors has worked hard and achieved the same position by maintaining its quality manufacturing.

Hero has finally brought its updated Hero Xterme in India which is priced at Rs 66,516 (ex-Mumbai Showroom). Its predecessor was launched in 2013 and the updated model comes in two variants. One is front-only disc version and other is disc plus drum brake version. Both are priced around Rs. 67,362 and Rs. 70,678respectively.

The new updated bike features new visor which looks stylish and sleek. This 150CC bike features electronic engine immobilizer, digital-analogue instrument cluster, under-seat mobile charger socket and also has side stand warning light. The bike would not start until you place the key properly in vicinity and if stand is not folded properly then, it will cut off the ignition. Bike also comes incorporated with cosmetic improvements which include new speedometer, dual finish exhaust muffler, headlamp with new eyebrow lights, alloy wheels and LED taillight.

2014 Hero Xtreme draws the power from 149.2CC four-stroke single cylinder engine, integrated with 5-speed transmission which develops maximum power of 15.2BHP, revolving at 8,500 RPM and peak torque of 12.8Nm at 6,500 RPM. At the front side, it gets 240mm disc brake and rear has 130mm drum brake. Its rear gets 5-step adjustable gas reservoir suspension and telescopic hydraulic suspension.
