2016 Hero Splendor iSmart Spotted at Dealership, Launch Soon

Hero Motocorp is going to add all new Splendor iSmart in the popular commuter motorcycle in India. First unveiled at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, the motorcycle was recently spotted at the dealership. It simply clarifies that it will roll out in the market soon. The all new Hero Splendor iSmart is loaded with distinct design and engine that is likely to be available with up to the par style, mileage, and performance.

India’s No. 1 two-wheeler manufacturer, starts this month with the launch of two new 110cc scooters in the market. Other expected products which can be the part of the lineup are Achiever facelift, Super Splendor facelift, 2016 Hunk facelift and the new 125cc scooter.

Built around a single downtube frame, the new iSmart looks identical to the current model with the dual tone color theme of Red-Black and Blue-Black. On aesthetics, the V-shaped headlamp, muscular fuel tank, long comfortable seat, alloy wheels, etc. gives an appealing look to the bike.

Featured with the latest Hero’s i3S technology, the bike gets power from the 4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled engine with the displacement of 110cc. The engine is rated to eject power of 9.1 PS at 7500 rpm and torque of 9 Nm at 5500 rpm. The power will be dispatched to the rear wheel via a four-speed gearbox. The equipped i3S tech is claimed to deliver 6 percent more mileage than the existing model.

The new Splendor iSmart 110cc will receive the price hike in comparison the current iSmart offering. The self-start drum brake alloy wheel model of the current ISmart comes at INR 51,680 while the spoke wheel variant is being sold at INR 50,580, prices (ex-showroom, Delhi).
