2016 Triumph Thruxton R Cafe Racer Will Launch on Coming 3rd June

The Modern Classic range of British motorcycle maker, Triumph Motorcycles has made its introduction in India, at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo in February month this year. Just after its unveiling, two motorcycles- the Street Twin, Bonneville T120 has been launched by the bike maker in the Indian motoring market. While the cafe racer styled 2016 Triumph Thruxton R has been scheduled for launch in the upcoming June 3 for the month. The Triumph Thruxton R, an expensive modern classic in Triumph's Indian portfolio and be priced between Rs. 10-11 lakh.

Aesthetically, The Thruxton R's imposing stance and classic styling shows its cafe-racer DNA in its roots. The bike is fitted with a round chrome finished headlamp, bar-end mirrors, low-slung clip-ons, sculpted fuel tank, and more.

On the powering end, Thruxton R has a liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with the displacement of 1200cc which produces immediate power delivery of 97 PS at 6750 rpm and peak torque of 112Nm at 4950 rpm. The engine setup is wealthy to provide an excellent fuel efficiency and increased service interval of 16,000km.

Suspension setup consists shod with Showa upside-down forks up front and adjustable Ohlins rear shock set. Braking responsibilities will be taken care by dual discs at the front and the single disc at rear with Brembo Monobloc radially-mounted calipers. Additional features like ABS, slip-assist clutch, traction control and rider modes are also given for the rider’s aid in the motorcycle.
