Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the next-gen Aviator with BS-IV engine and an Auto Headlamp On (AHO) feature update in India for INR 52,077 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Meanwhile, the company has also added a new alloy wheels plus front drum brake variant into existing option range. This new variant will you around Rs 54,022, whereas the range-topping disc brake variant is available to retail at Rs. 56,454 (both, ex-showroom, Delhi).
As if, the stringent BS-IV emission norms are about to the hit Indian biking industry soon, HMSI has already revived almost all the product in country's lineup with BS-IV engine and AHO feature, including the Activa 4G, CB Shine SP, Activa 125cc. CB Shine and CB Unicorn 160.
if safety features are considered, Honda is now offering an advanced safety feature of Combined Brake System (CBS) in all the three Aviator variants, which manages force distribution equally on both wheels while applying brakes. Besides this, all time on headlamp utility will support riding by providing better visibility into dark scenarios without any switching efforts, because AHO attribute ended headlamp on/off switch from the instrument console.
Powering of the new Honda Aviator will be handled by same old 109cc single-cylinder engine with Honda Eco Technology (HET). The equipped mill is capable of producing 8bhp of power along with 8Nm of torque via a CVT transmission. However, this engine is a BS-IV compliant one.
it is available in red, black, silver and white colour options and will take fight with the head with the available contenders in the market like TVS Jupiter MillionR, Hero Duet, Yamaha Cynus Alpha and the Mahindra Gusto.
