2017 Hyundai Creta Details Leaked Ahead of Official Launch

The new generation 2017 Hyundai Creta has been leaked online in a set of brochure images. Since Creta is the key player in the compact sedan segment in the Indian market, the carmaker will leave no stone unturned to it on a higher notch with its rivals.
The leaked images hint about what we can expect from the upcoming 2017 Hyundai Creta. As per the leaked info, the revised version of the Creta is about to hit the market hard with a bunch of new interesting upgrades, interior features as well as cosmetic updates. The fresh changes will help the model to be more upmarket and will keep interest in the product.

Taking a look at the leaked images, the base variant E of Hyundai Creta will remain identical to that of the outgoing model. Moving to the next, the E+ which was only available in 1.6-litre petrol option, will now also be offered with a 1.4-litre CRDi engine mated to a manual gearbox.

Next to it, the S variant has also been received no updates. However, the S+, SX+, SX+ Dual Tone and the SX(O) trims will be offered with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Mirrorlink and Arkamys Sound Mood. in addition to this, the SX+ variant is available with several new dual tone interior themes including - Polar White and Red Passion with Phantom Black coloured roof and pillars and all black interiors with red and black seat upholstery.

No changes have been reported under the hood. The 2017 Hyundai Creta will continue to get power from the existing powertrains. The petrol version is powered by a 1.6-litre mill that delivers the maximum power of 122 bhp and a peak torque of 154 Nm.

On the other hand, the diesel version is available with the choice of two engine options – 1.4-litre which develops 89bhp of maximum power along with the 224 Nm of peak torque, while the 1.6-litre engine generates 126 bhp of maximum power and 265 Nm of peak torque. Both the 1.6-litre diesel and petrol engines are offered with the choice of either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission option. Whereas the smaller 1.4-litre diesel engine is only paired with a manual transmission.

With the revised Creta, Hyundai will make the competition more potent for the other cars in the segment likes of the Ford EcoSport and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
