Soon to be launched, the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 facelift has been started arriving at the authorised dealerships across the country. And right before that, the price of all the variants including the new 1.2-litre diesel powertrain have been leaked.
According to the leaked price document, the carmaker has also revised the price of petrol powered variants on the facelift updates. Check-out the complete list comprising the variant-wise price of 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 facelift: (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi)
This new 1.2-litre diesel engine will replace the outgoing 1.1-litre diesel motor. With this increased engine volume, the new Grand i10 will be more powerful rating the higher power and torque output.
On the transmission side, the facelift Grand i10 might continue with the 5-speed manual gearbox. However, the carmaker can also introduce the 6-speed setup from Hyundai i10 to set a new benchmark in the segment.
The 1.2-litre petrol from the current generation Hyundai i10 will continue to serve the market with the facelift updates.
Moving on the aesthetic updates, the major exterior changes to the front of new Grand i10 include revised bumper featuring company’s signature ‘Cascading Grill’ and fog lamps which house LED DRLs on the top-end trim. While the rear end borrows its design cues from Active i20’s design language. The highlights at rear include a new bumper with a large black insert that boasts circular reflectors on either side.
Inside the cabin, the dashboard gets several noteworthy updates in order to enhance the aura with a large 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This smart display will also get Apple CarPlay Android Auto and MirrorLink connectivity. Several other high-end features like voice command function, automatic climate control and reverse parking camera can also be availed.
