Mahindra and Mahindra has re-launched the Mahindra Scorpio Adventure Edition in India with exclusive cosmetic updates. This new edition will be produced limited in number and is priced INR 13.1 Lakh for the 4x2 variant and INR 14.2 Lakh for 4x4 version. This new edition is only available in the range-topping Scorpio S10 trim.
Taking a look at the exterior updates, the Adventure Edition gets exclusive gun-metal alloy wheels, wing mirrors with side indicators and smoked taillamps. The special edition SUV is being offered with a distinctive Mist Silver and White dual-tone exterior paint shades along with ‘Adventure’ graphics across the side profile.
Step inside and you will see a new dual tone blue fabric and black leather seat upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, gear lever and armrest, rear view camera and an Adventure engraved mark on the dashboard. Since it can only be availed in top-end trim, it is equipped with all the range-topping features and equipment such as 6-inch touchscreen smart infotainment AVN display, multi-functional steering wheel, dual airbags and ABS (Anti-lock Braking System).
Under the hood, specs remain identical to that of the outgoing model. The Scorpio Adventure Edition draws power from the same 2.2-liter four-cylinder mHawk diesel engine unit paired with Intelli-Hybrid system. The motor is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and develops a maximum power of 120 bhp at 4,000 rpm and the peak torque of 280 Nm between 1,800-2,800 rpm.
