2017 Maruti Suzuki Dzire Pre-Bookings Officially Announced for Rs 11,000

Maruti Suzuki dealers across the whole country have officially started the pre-bookings for the upcoming third generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire. All the Maruti Suzuki outlets have started taking a token amount of Rs 11,000 ahead of its launch on 16 May 2017. Moreover, the customers who have already booked the outgoing model of Dzire can also convert the same to the new generation model, they just have to wait a bit more for the delivery.

The third gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire has recently launched and has gained a more upmarket and a completely new and premium platform, design and features. The looks, styling, and the proportions have simply been improved in a beautiful way over the outgoing model. People also pointed out the resemblance of the new model with HM Ambassador, which gives is a slightly retro feel.

The company has completely renovated its Dzire along with an all new HEARTECT platform. The new platform has decreased the weight of the beauty up to 105 kg as compared to its outdated model while having grown wider by 20 mm. The new Dzire has also enhanced the cabin space with 50 mm more knee room than its predecessor and is blessed with premium quality materials used. Moreover, the new version of the compact sedan includes a new flat-bottom steering wheel and a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This time the company has also kept an eye on the safety measures, as the car now comes with dual front airbags and ABS as standard across all variants.

The new Maruti Dzire will be offered in four variants including L, V, Z and Z+, across two engine options. The engine specs remain the same 1.2-litre K-Series petrol and 1.3-litre DDiS diesel, but this time they are more fuel efficient as compared to the previous model. Both the engines deliver the power to the rear wheels via automated manual transmission, with the help of a 5-speed manual gearbox.

As we can see, the 2017 Maruti Suzuki Dzire has seen some major changes and is expected to experience a bit increase in its price too. The subcompact sedan is expected to go premium by around ₹ 20,000 on the base trims and around ₹ 50,000 on the top variants.
