The Internet is abuzz with leaked patent images of The 2018 Honda CB 125F. Following recent confirmation from the Japanese Automobile Maker, the speculations are high that Honda CB 125F could see an India release during the current Financial Year itself. Reportedly, Honda had earlier this year confirmed the launch of a brand new 2-wheeler and 18 upgrades on existing models. However, Honda already sells the CB 125F in the UK and a look at the leaked images only reaffirms the old saying “Old Wine in a New Bottle”.
Honda, it seems fell sort of ideas for the CB 125F. The new offering it seems will have little to boast off. Apart from the “Minor Tweaks”, the CB 125F seems to borrow heavily from its predecessor. However, the leaked images do suggest an all new visor and mudguard coupled with a wider seat. A few minor updates will include slimmer exhaust and split grab rails. The LED headlight though comes with fresh cosmetic updates and for the time being seems the only eye catching change on the design front. In its segment., the Honda CB 125F will lock horns with the likes of Hero Glamour and Bajaj Discover 125 on Indian Roads.
The Honda CB 125F will be powered by an air-cooled 125cc engine coupled to a 4-speed gearbox. It churns out 10.3 PS of power and 10.3 Nm of torque. The UK twin of the Honda CB 125F gets a balancer shaft, air cooling, and fuel injection. The 124.7cc is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. As far as safety is concerned, there is disc brake for front wheels and drum brakes at the rear. Also, it will in all likelihood come equipped with CBS. The UK version comes with a price tag of GBP 2799 (approximately Rs. 2.58 lakhs). The makers have been tight-lipped on the price tag for the Indian version of 2018 Honda CB 125F. Honda CB 125F may be launched this FY with a price tag in the range of 65,000-70,000
