2018 Triumph Tiger Teaser Video Out Before Launch At EICMA 2017

A teaser video of 2018 Triumph Tiger is in the air before the day of launch. The bike is going to be unveiled on 7th November at EICMA which is held at Rho-Pero of Fiera Milano. The model is refurbished and added with new features.

As shown in the teaser video, the 2018 Triumph tiger is equipped with a ‘New Tiger Triple Engine’ and modified technological features. Intentionally, the video hides power specifications in both the videos. The DRL LED headlamps are clearly visible. The headlight cluster seems more lighten up with expected Tiger 1200. This update is penetrated for Euro IV spec Tiger 800, and Tiger 1200 Explorer.

Tiger 1800 is expected to get a slimmer rear end which goes well with an acquainted looking taillight. Some of the features are clearly visible in the video like sharp functions of the headlamp which spread the light around the corners for improved visibility. Fresh backlit switchgear is also seen in the teaser video with a large mode switch and toggle switch, which regulates a TFT sharp screen that is visible on the Street Triple RS.

Some information is revealed about the engine which states that 2018 Triumph Tiger will have 3 cylinder Euro 4 compliant engine. The present engine of the bike churns out a maximum power of 93 BHP and maximum torque of 79 Nm and it is expected that the same engine will be available in a new model with some modifications and latest updates to improve power and performance.

There is still uncertainty on whether the company will launch the new 2018 Triumph Tiger in India or not, and 2017 Triumph explorer XCx is available in India to sell out at the price of Rs. 18.75 lakhs. The bike will compete against BMW R1200GS Adventure and Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro if launch in India.
