All-New Honda Grazia Surpass 15,000 Mark in Just 21 Days

An all-new scooter offering from Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India, the Grazia as claimed by the company has crossed 15,000 units sales mark in just 21 days of its launch.

Speaking on the occasion, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, said, “Loaded with many segments leading features and a fresh styling that stands out, the Grazia has taken the style and performance loving customers by storm. We are overwhelmed by the initial response and are confident that with its expanded scooter portfolio, Grazia will take Honda’s leadership to the next level.”

Design-wise, the Honda Dio is an improved iteration of the Activa that wears a sharp, angular design to convey a sportier stance. While the scooter gets a two-tone stout front apron that is studded with the segment-first sharply designed LED headlight unit. Other captivating features comprises an all-digital instrument cluster with a speedometer and a tachometer and a halogen-lit taillamp that draws inspiration from the Dio flaunts the rear of the Grazia.

The propelling power for the Honda Grazia comes from the 124.98cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled mechanical unit that is rated to generate the peak power of 8.5PS of power at 6,500rpm along with 10.54Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. As of now, the Grazia is in direct competition with the Suzuki Access 125 while a much sportier scooter from Suzuki is likely to launch soon.

The Grazia is pretty convenient as it comes with enough storage and practicality features. Under the seat, the scooter offers 18-liter storage capacity bin and to open it there is a separate button placed next to the ignition keyhole. Other than this, there is an additional small storage and a mobile charging socket placed behind the front apron.

To absorb shocks on the roads with potholes, the Grazia is equipped with telescopic front forks up front and a rear monoshock. While the braking power for the scooter comes from an optional 190mm disc brake at the front wheel or a 130mm drum brake at the rear.

Honda is offering the Grazia in three different variants and six colour options to make your choice. The pricing for the scooter starts from Rs 57,897 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the STD variant and goes up to Rs 62,269 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the top-end Dlx variant comes fitted with a front disc brake. While the Alloy variant with drum brakes which is a mid variant is on sale at Rs 59,827 (ex-showroom Delhi).
