2017 MV Agusta F3800 India Launch in September

As per the sources, the Italian bike maker, MV Agusta, which had discontinued the previous generation F3800 from its Indian lineup, is all set to introduce 2017 F3800 to fill that void by the next month of September. The reason behind discontinuation was the emission norms transition from BS-III to more stringent BS-IV norms. With the improved BS-IV compliant engine, 2017 F3800, is claimed to produce 48 percent fewer emission and 50 percent reduced noise level (MV Agusta Claims) than the last going.

To achieve this, the engine has gone through the alterations to a great extent as the engine now features updated balancer shaft and new water and oil pumps. Besides this, an overhauled valvetrain with new cam and intake valves, new valve springs and updated valve guides are also been installed in the engine’s mechanical. The gearing and shift mechanism has also been updated for seamless power transmission.

The enhanced powertrain now breathes out 144PS, 4PS down from the previous model’s 148PS power output through a replaced larger exhaust with an updated catalytic converter. The electronic package now gained the advance features of new fuel maps and ride-by-wire as well.

The altered engine mounting points claim a better frame rigidity. The 2017 MV Agusta F3800 is not the only MV Agusta coming this year. The Brutale 800RR will also join the forthcoming along with the Turismo Veloce.
