Audi India Brings in A6 35 TFSI with Style and Efficiency

Audi, one of the most well known luxury car makers, is continually coming up with latest models in the market. In addition to the six models launched this year, the automaker has added another one recently. Last month, Audi A6 arrived in India with its TDi variant and now, the brand has introduced the TFSI variant for the country at INR 45,90,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This car is fitted with new Auto Engine Start/Stop facility integrated with Energy Recovery System that aids in efficiently saving up a lot of energy. Further, the intensive use of high strength steel and aluminium is also an important factor.

Mechanical Specs:

The variant known as A6 35 TFSI is powered by a 1.8 litre, 4-cylinder inline turbocharged petrol engine that offers 1798 cc of displacement. This motor has the capacity to generate 140KW between 4,200 to 6,200 rpm and maximum torque of 320 Nm between 1,400 to 4,100 rpm. Power is transmitted via a seven-speed steptronic unit that is linked to an FWD setup. The acceleration capability enables this sedan to go upto 100 km/h from standstill in just 7.9 seconds wit maximum speed of 233 km/h.

Coming to the cosmetic elements, the exterior flaunts LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, light and rain sensors, turn indicators at the rear portion and automatically adjustable wing mirrors with memory functions. Inside the A6, the seats are found to be covered with Milano leather along with Fine Grain Ash Natural Brown inlays offered in various colors like black, nougat brown and beige.

Other parts like dashboard, center console and door panels boast of a wooden trim. The infotainment unit contains various functions like Bluetooth connectivity, Voice Dialogue System, Audi Parking System Plus, etc. The music system is offered with Audi sound system and BOSE Surround Sound system comes as an option. The car is also equipped with eight airbags (including rear side airbags) for ensuring safety of the occupants.
