One of the world's most famous car manufacturer companies Audi is all set to unveil its new automotive technology with its A6 TDI concept and RS 5 TDI concept car very soon in the international market. The new technology is named as 48-volt and basically has an electrically powered compressor that operates irrespective of the engine load and hence improves the acceleration of the carriage to a significant level. Both of these cars may get launched on the at the upcoming Paris Motor Show in the month of October.
This new system has the lithium-ion batteries, which makes the engine a kind of hybrid one and make less independent of the combustion taking place in the cars. This technology also gives the car new ways of controlling, deactivating and starting and offers almost 10 KW of power to the engine. This extra power paves the way for better acceleration for the cars than its already available number. The Audi officials also said claimed to make the car sportier, efficient and of course powerful with convenience for the customers.
This new 48-Volt technology is definitely a lot better option than the current electrical system which are getting used in the cars, even at the lower temperatures. Audi can surely ride the success wave with this new invention as this battery system has lower heat dissipation with enhanced results in terms of power as well. I guess all the auto lovers will be waiting for this technology and so as for the extravagant Paris Motor Show in the month of October.
