Bajaj Auto Increases the Price of Pulsar RS200

Recently, the Bajaj Auto has launched a new dual tone paint scheme of its flagship motorcycle, Pulsar RS200. The new edition named, 'Fear The Black' that comes with new Demon Black paint. Noteworthy thing, the motorcycle has also become the most selling vehicle of the company. The Indian bike maker has increased the price of ideal bike by INR 2,000 to its price tag for the Indian automobile market. The new price tag will apply to all models and colors. The company has taken this decision considering the heavy demand of RS200 in upcoming festival season.

With the increased price, there are no technical or mechanical changes in the RS200. Talking about its powering, the bike is in-housed with a liquid-cooled, 199.5cc and single cylinder motor. The fuel injected engine is capable to deliver a maximum power of 24.5 PS and an outstanding torque of 18.6 Nm. This power plant is coupled to a six speed gearbox that helps to transfer a total potency to the rear wheel.

The braking duties are managed by a 300mm disc brake at front side and a 230mm disc brake at rear and dual channel ABS is working together with a front and rear disc brake. While the motorcycle offers a dynamic balancing power to the rider as it is featured with the front telescopic suspensions with anti-friction bush and Nitrox mono-shock forks at rear side.

After an increase in the price of the bike, the pulsar RS200 will be sold at INR 1.20 lakh for the standard version and ABS Version will be available at INR 1.32 lakh.
