Bajaj Auto Indexes Growth in Motorcycles Sales for November 2015

Bajaj Auto, it is a well known brand that serve reliable services and products to its customers. The manufacturer has several models in its portfolio, comprises of Discover series, Pulsar and Avenger series. Every month the company has reported positive sales, in which the commuter segment played an important role in terms of sales. Recently, the two-wheeler maker has reported 3 percent hike in motorcycles sales for November 2015 as the company has retail 2,70,886 units of motorcycle during the November 2015. Moreover, the overall sales (motorcycles, commercial vehicles and exports) for November 2015 is 3,09,673 units as compared to the 3,09,259 units in November 2014.

The sales of commercial vehicle and exports went down by 18 and 17.4 percent respectively. The company has managed to sell 38,787 units commercial vehicle as against to 47,311 units of November 2014. The exported products are 1,37,315 units, including 66 units of company's recently launched quadricycle, “Qute” as against to 1,65,733 units in November 2014.

The company is hoping positive sales from its recently introduced cruiser models, which include Avenger Street 150, Avenger Street 220 and Avenger Cruise 220. The new Bajaj Avenger Street 150 gets power from the 149cc, air cooled, single-cylinder, twin-spark and DTS-i engine. The engine is strong enough to return a power of 14.3 BHP at 9000 RPM and the torque of 12.5 Nm at 6500 RPM.

Furthermore, Avenger Street 220 and Avenger Cruise 220 share the same 219.9cc, air cooled, single-cylinder, twin-spark and DTS-i engine. The engine delivers 18.8 BHP of power at 8400 RPM and 17.5 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM.
